Now I understand why he's such an amazing actor. He plays all his characters so well and so convincing. Some actors and actresses are just reading lines and have no chemistry (I've seen high school students with better acting skills than them), but not Oscar Isaac. He really takes his job as an actor seriously, and that brings so much entertainment value to his work.
Very interesting interview. Oscar is so knowledgeable and intelligent when it comes to his process and breaking down a character and a script. He could teach a masterclass. I’d watch that in a heartbeat.
If Oscar Isaac is going to be teaching it, I'd like to learn it, whatever it may be. This right here is a real, top notch masterclass. I didn't want it to end. I truly enjoyed listening to, learning from, and watching all 19 minutes of Oscar just teaching. Interesting, insightful, and brilliant!
This was fantastic! I loved hearing about how he approaches his job and his process. Honestly, this might sound weird, but I found so much of what he said relatable, and it all made sense to me, even though I am not an actor. He also just generally seems like such a thoughtful, reflective person. I'm so grateful to have properly discovered him because I watched Moon Knight, and I can't wait to watch more of his films and see what he does next. 😄
I agree. Is it just me or does it seem like he can play a really good bad guy? The soft, unsettling voice of Kane from Annihilation, the charisma of Oscar himself and looks. I really want him to play a bad guy in a “real world” if that makes sense
I’ve heard him say this before, how u can see an audition as a chance to perform and investigate a character rather than a nerve-wracking experience. What an intelligent guy with great perspective. I only acted as a child and it would have been nice to think that way, not constantly defeated by rejection.

I could listen to him all day.

“There’s no excuse to not be working.” 😊❤.
Fascinating to hear someone take you step-by-step through their process, thanks for posting.

I'm living in this video. It's so inspiring to listen to him.

When was this interview? Oscar looks different now.
Looks like it was recorded while Oscar was shooting TROS. He looks different now because back then he had to dye his hair in order to play Poe...
Looks like this was during The Promise movie based on the haircut
Or either Life Itself. That was like 2 years ago?
@@THEDOORIZCLOSED sometime in 2017. he's wearing a wedding band and he got married in early 2017.
