Always do your arena npcs, or even if you lose it's okay. Don't hesitate to play, the arena points will pile overtime so you can buy charms from the conquest shop.
Dude I just watched this and I’ve gotta say, you really helped me out I’m a mid to end game player and I can’t thank you enough for this simple video I’m not new so everything you said I took in and will remember , thank you!
Just started playing yesterday. Watched your Up-to-Date must pull and I made sure to ReRoll until I got your number 1 on the list Sigrit.Took 5 re rolls. Time to look for gear.
I really get on how important and powerful speed sets are, but that doesn't mean that exact reason is why I hate it so much. I just want a change of pace rather than forever stuck in W13 just to be somewhat of a chance competitive.
Have they thought about just giving *some* sets the option of having a 2 piece, 4 piece and 6 piece bonus? That would bee an easy way to fix this without saying "EF YOU" to all the people who've spent a lot of money on the game getting perfect speed etc...
I went from rolling grey speed boots and bronze in arena to being very smart about my gear rolling and legend arena after watching this video. Thanks Car, very cool.
Just a little thing, you mention flat defense is in general good for mages. wich is true, but you mention specter tenebria as an example. She is one of the highest base defenses in the game for some reason xD So yeah mages usually benefit from flat defense but not specter tenebria. Great video!
Dude this made more sense than asking around in discord! I’ve caught a stream or two since I found you on YT. After half a dozen videos I’ve seen from you, you’re concise and very informative. I’m like 6 months in and still learning, but loving this game. You’ve sold me on subbing to your channel and I look forward to more of your content. Much appreciated that you help out the newcomers bro. I’m not sure if you’ve covered wyvern comps or how to build teams to do so since I’m stuck on 11. Maybe you have but anyways I’m rambling lol thanks for doing this (simple) video 🙏
I think it is worth to mention that the desired subs very much depend on your goal. For example, if you need just max damage for a hunt oneshot that you can't clear, you won't need speed as the unit will only get 1 turn anyways. In this case it is better to take flat attack instead of speed. Same applies if you want to build a slow DPS which relies on a CR pusher like aux lots.
Good point Hirias, but this is a beginner part to he series so rolling "generic" gear with speed while you don't have much is better overall so it can be used in multiple areas of content. Later down you can specialize like you mentioned.
about rolling gear, for you maybe next videos : to save gold i try to craft or enhance one type of gear at a time (say only chest for a session), this way i can feed failed rolled gear to another to spare charms. With this method it's also really important to not feed gear that are too enhanced (like +4-+6 are ok but i avoid +9 or +12) cause thegold cost is really increased when you do that multiple times. Finally when i want to save gold but still need to craft (cause too much of claws) i craft only right side gear the reason is : having good right side gear is harder due to main stat rng so i have more failed rolled that i don't have to enhance too far. Hope i was clear in my explanation. Also very good videos overall and your voice is such a delight that you should do some epic seven ASMR ^^
Very nice tip for gold saving Chang, I do something similar to save inventory space! (rolling one type of item at a time to feed into others). It's definitely a great charm saving technique.
I'm new to this game but not new to this genre of gaming. I have been using 4 + 2 sets and triple 2 sets. 4 + 2 going something like 4 speed and 2 crit for dps and 4 speed and 2 hp or def for tanks and support. Not sure if this is going in the right direction but will see how it rolls out. My focus currently, since my acct rolled a Sez as the first roll is to get arbiter vildred unlocked through the free hero system. I got Kayron in a roll after I reopened the acct and seen he is high on the roles for rating. When I first started playing they had a Free Spirit Tieria event going so I was able to get her and get her skills into S rank. I use a speed set on her and she opens the fight, usually, with an aoe to the enemy. Already seeing the 4 star base in her coming out though as she is starting to die a lot in arena. Thanks for the info in the video.
Good point, but not always true - for example>: If we find a speed mainstat boots with 4 perfect substats (imagine atk/crit/critdmg/flat atk), even on mediocre to low rolls it's still a very good boot (no wasted stats, extremely hard to get 4 of the right stats on one item etc).
Great vid, brother. I'd suggest you label your vids so when everything gets uploaded people would have some sequence to follow. i.e. Gear Enhancing Tips & Tricks Part 1 - Wyvern Sets Anyway, looking forward for the rests of the guides!
3 week player here. Really really really helped me greatly esp your advice of auto selling eff and eff res equips. I always try to gamble with heroic pieces containing those two thinking "I might get a good spd" then rolling an unwanted 4th stat then leaving me having a bad equip and wasted gold in the process. Also if I may ask, how rare is a speed set speed mainstat boots in general? I've been farming W11 for almost a week and I still haven't got that type of boots.
This was probably the most helpful video about gearing I've seen. However, can't find the other parts of the guide. Does anyone know if he ever did them? thanks
in PvP every enemy player is faster than my team even with speed sets, so it feels like it's a wasted stat since I'm going second anyway, might as well have more HP, more defense, etc
Good vid.- is the same 3 min substat rule still applicable on right side gear? Often for an offensive char you will want a crit damage neck, speed boots, att% ring, so does that mean you would only roll (or almost always only roll) if you had crit damage main stat, necklace and 3 of the 4 sub-stats being an offensive stat? Put another way, would you roll a neck piece if it was, say, crit damage main, two high rolls of let's say crit chance and speed, but no attack%?
Right side gear you can be less picky with Mag, so critdmg main stat on the set you want + two high rolls can be worth it especially now with the substat gems!
New player here. Just want to confirm that I should only keep purple and red items right? Also, does the main stat change? Like a weapon will always have attack and armor will always have health as main stat?
I lowered my standards to having at least 2 substats I want in my gear and it takes me almost a month of farming everyday and I still don’t have a piece with those 2 stats. Or if I do get one it’s on the wrong set How do you guys do it? Seriously???
The difficulty of getting a really good gear on your units in this game is trippled compared to lets say, Summoners War where you just needed to get a good rune and use a mana to rank it up In E7 1. you have to get a good piece drop 2. you have to get a good rolls on it and 3. you need those damn CHARMS to roll it in the first place ... For now I am using trash gear that drops in the world to lvl up some better gear, but still, it's god damn hard and takes a lot more time and luck to gear your units preoperly
You keep using the word "roll" in reference to gear stats. I dont think I quite understand. You mean either in CRAFTING the gear, or just farming for the gear? Or, something else that my old gamer brain isn't quite getting?
Just build your tank like a really good choice is specialty changed montmorancy the wyvern boss only attacks the front unit as long as it’s alive. Good dps are Karin and sigret. Taranor for defense breaks and your set
You can use the destruction set from abyss for your dmg dealer (they usually roll into effectiveness a lot xD), there are also free lv75 atk set and lv71 atk set from episode 2 AP shops. There is also a free lv75 destruction set from nixiel's sanctum area 4 too, if I remember it correctly. Use free hp set for your tank (angelica/a.montmo) and you will only have to gear 1 unit with speed set. Don't be too picky when it comes to pve contents
@@Ehd. But wyvern attacks two units, so should I build a second tank/healer unit? I'm currently using Alexa - Luluca - Taranor - Angelica, I don't have Sigret or Karin and could work on angelic montmorancy if necessary.
This video would be much more effective if you explained what you meant by "rolling" gear. Because you reference it a lot over the course of this video yet I still have no idea what you mean or how to do it. So now I have to look elsewhere to find the information.
Hey Mike, ignore the word rolling and replace it with leveling (investing in any gear, typically to +3/+6/+9 etc) and everything is the same. Sorry for the confusion - it's a very common game term but I understand some people do not know it.
@@caR_6 I understood the term "rolling". What I didn't know was how to perform that function in this particular game. I found another video to show me the area and items needed to do it in this game though. Maybe I could have been clearer as well.
Best strat for gear is to pray to RNGesus everyday.
And farm wyvern all day

That won't change unless they nerf both counter and speed sets which is never happening tbh
