Oh wow. This is definitely pulling from a range of sources. The Utrom is an alternate (current?) name for the TCRI aliens - the guys who created the mutagen. Not sure about more recent continuities, but from what I recall they original tended to be somewhere between neutral to friendly. The old cartoon character Krang was basically an alternate version of them.
Yeah was a tutorial on the upgrades, after the tutorial you get some Dragon Coins and make you spend on that first one, which I imagined you could had done before of the first run, things that can be missable without a tutorial XD
I cannot say that it was my entire childhood because I was more of a Batman guy, but it did give me some nostalgic vibes, thank you for that! Would totally watch if you ever did another video or a stream (though I would only be able to watch the redif.). Have a nice day!!!
Hmmm, the multiplayer skips the tutorial, kinda sad on it since the tutorial also have some story bits which in short is Shredder found portal powers and he ambushed Leo and with that end up sending Splinter to another dimension.
The multiplayer (as of when the game 1st came out) is really scuffed, chock full of game breaking bugs. The most egregious was getting stuck in a dialogue with the boss while my 2 friends got whooped, then the boss whooped my unresponsive turtle ass.
