    My family and I was just at the Ark New Years 2022, and had a great time. If AIG keeps building, then we will have to make another trip. It isn’t really the exhibits that we come for, but the atmosphere is what we like.

    Would you ever consider building a life sized city of Jerusalem to walk through just like you did the ark?

    • @thecoasterconnoisseurs837
      @thecoasterconnoisseurs837 Год назад +3

      I think that would be really cool but a MAJOR investment. That would take a lot of donations and probably be really expensive. I would think it would cost a lot more than the structure and building of the Ark itself.

    • @GeorgeRamsey22
      @GeorgeRamsey22 Год назад

      Maybe they could make a few buildings or streets to walk through and experience, but a whole life sized city would be way too big or expensive.

    Questions about the exhibit and details maybe not considered:
    * Will there be a glass floor above it to have a better view of all the different parts of the city?
    * Many buildings in ancient times were painted or had things sometimes even carved into walls. Will this aspect be considered?
    * Many ancient structures lacked windows on the ground floor as a security measure among other reasons. Will this be considered with every building?
    * Clothing was often in a variety of colors while certain colors were only used by certain classes. Will such detail be explored when you "populate" the city?
    Note that I am not "nitpicking" here. The project is exciting regardless. I am only curious as to the level of detail going into it and some of these points (even if not in the model) could add a fascinating bit of detail to the write-ups around the exhibit. As you are aware, a model was used at a place in Orlando once. The biggest weakness of this exhibit was that you couldn't see some areas clearly from having to walk around it from the outside. Not sure if you can do it, but it would be amazing if you could set it into the floor where you could effectively walk around Jerusalem, giving guests access to every part of the city, perhaps designing the room as though you were walking into one of the actual structures modeled in the city itself (and finding that structure might make a fun game for kids). I say all this not to critique, but to, hopefully toss a few ideas for you to consider (these being a few off the top of my head). Again, this is an exciting project regardless and one I hope to be able to see one day when it is complete.

      In the concept render video, it looks the city model is divided into parts, with guest paths moving through the middle and allowing you to get close to key areas in the city center.

    • @sebastiansilverfox6912
      @sebastiansilverfox6912 2 года назад

      @@ClassMammalia And if that's how they do it, fair enough. The only problem being that it removes the sense of scale of the overall city. Not saying they can't make it work or anything like that... merely lobbing an idea for what I personally think is a better idea. Ultimately, they are the ones who have to determine how best to use the resources at their disposal. I'm sure they will do a good job.

    I think next you guys should develop the fourth deck of the Ark in the time being that you guys are planning and building out this new welcome center and Jerusalem model. That would be really cool and more to do for people who want to stand by the ledge. I believe Ken Ham said that would take about $4 million dollars but if I was rich I know I’d be willing to invest more just to make the fourth deck better in every way. I know you guys have previously mentioned replicating the late Patrick Marsh’s office. Perhaps you could do an exhibit on the fourth deck with signage conveying his life and legacy and his plans for the different phases of this amazing project.

      Yeah, I went to the ark they made and was low-key disappointed I couldn't go on the top of it. And while they are building the new stuff for this model, it would be a great time to add too that part of the ark!

    • @thecoasterconnoisseurs837
      @thecoasterconnoisseurs837 Год назад +1

      @@GeorgeRamsey22 agreed. I think they should also do a office replication, like I mentioned, honoring the legacy of the late Patrick Marsh (The designer behind the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum) like they had talked about doing. That would be neat imo.

    A great way to help raise funds for this project is to provide an upgrade for the Ark Encounter Boarding pass holders! Include benefits like: higher discounts on food (15% off instead of 10%), 10% off the Time Travellers attraction, allow for the 8 yearly Ark tickets to "roll over" to the next year, provide yearly tickets to the Creation museum also, and/or zip line discounts! These upgrade ideas and others for a $500 or $750 donation!

    This is gonna be cool! I've been to the ark replica and the creation museum and I loved it. Something I saw another person bring up was that while this construction is going on, you could add another "deck" to the ark. I was disappointed that I couldn't go on the top the ark at all while I was there. Also, I thought I heard somewhere that you were making a life-size replica of the tower of Babel? Is that true? Either way I'm excited for whatever you make next.

    As you can see by my photo I am of African American decent, I am NOT I repeat of the total belief that Life began in Central Africa and that all of ancient Israel was black BUT, I do want to raise an issue here. taking into consideration of the colour of earth anywhere throughout the Levant which basically 'joins' Africa, Mesopotamia and South Central Europe we see that the soil (the 'fertile') soil; that which teams with the nutrient from which all elements come from and generally returns to when it is diseased; that soil ranges from 'black to shades of 'reddish' brown yet, your depiction (from the pictures you've shown cause I've never been to the 'Ark Park') of Adam and Eve are 'WHITE'. Now call me crazy but I have never, EVER seen soil or dirt that was rich in nutrients of a 'white', ashen colour unless of course they had been stricken with leprocy or some other unnatural deficiency thus, in your desire and attempt to be as 'transparent' as possible and with all of the, and I must admit, well thought out discussion points that SURELY makes your case quite believable and plausible yet you would ("OVERLOOK"?) something as OBVIOUS as Elohim (His 'proper' Hebraic Title), Who we know was a 'Husbandman', would stick His hands into the deep, rich Creation soil that had no deficiency nor corruption from sin, on the 6th day and form a 'white' man out of 'black' soil...while taking a 'rib' from that same man and maybe 'Eve' was made a wee bit lighter? You see where I'm going here? I think you may want to do a little bit more of that "objective" thinking and come up with a wee bit better conclusion for the (White) Adam made from (Blackish, reddish, brownish) coloured 'base material'. Try it! Go out and get some 'soil' add water; till it has a 'gooey' consistency that's firm enough to form the shape of a man and see what colour example you get. Ya see, once you start to change things from what was 'In The Beginning' you begin to go COMPLETELY off track. May the Love a Yahuah, our Father, Creator and Elohim bring you to your senses and recognize that "YAHUAH is ESCHAD"!

    I respect everyone's religion and their right to believe. I was interested in seeing this exhibit, but I see that it is not so much about Noah and the ark God commissioned him to make, but it really is about keeping Jesus at the center of it all. Sorry, but no thank you. I don't want anything to do with human sacrifices or blood oaths.
