I love how raw and honest you are about your whole journey. Takes a lot of courage to click the 'Upload' button for the whole world to see. Thanks for sharing and making us understand. Sending you big bear hugs.
What I learned is restricting leads to binges. Binge eating is a normal phase in anorexia recovery. In my experience, I restricted heavily until I was a very low weight. Then the binging started. I just let the binging happen. I became overweight, but the urge to binge tapered down and I eventually stabilized down to a normal weight. This recovery process took me about 5 years. You need those extra calories to repair the damage from the time of restricting. Good thing you never learned to purge, because that's a risk for developing bulimia.
Thank you so much for sharing Ms. Andy! It's sad ED in the Philippines lacks awareness and professional help but your story gave us more insights and perspective. Your video will truly help a lot of Filipinos and health professionals. Keep it up 💪💖
Thank you for your kind words Yem!💕 It is a sad reality but as long as we don’t give up, one day we will get the support that we need. I believe in us!!
Much love for you Beep! You are worth it! You deserve to be loved and to be happy! Congratulations for opening up about this issue. So brave of you! And to celebrate, tara, kain tayo. Hehe!
thank you for sharing, takes so much courage and vulnerability to do this!! very eye-opening for me, i think a lot of guys dont know that girls go through these things.. i'm sure you will help a lot of people :)
daletothechief thanks Dale for the kind words! :) I think most people aren’t aware that men also go through this. Anyone who aren’t happy with themselves find a way to inflict pain in different ways
I can relate to this. I currently am dealing with B.E.D. and I'm documenting it on my own channel. It truly is a tough thing to overcome. I'm literally in the world of fitness and bodybuilding and I just gained 27 lbs in 3 weeks. A lot of times when people aren't looking or when people go to bed at home. I'll just get up and eat 7000 calories and just keep going back for more until I'm sick. I wonder sometimes if I'll ever overcome it 🙁
Chris Holt I believe in you. You can overcome this obstacle. Sometimes when we’re in so much pain, we can’t see the light. But we always have a choice to be better. Seeking help when we can’t heal on our own is the best gift you can give yourself :)
Also, we can't help but to self-diagnosed because we lack ED clinics here. Hopefully this will call the attention of most health professionals here like psychologists and dieticians
hi miss andy koa! good day! i saw your video on the youtube entitiled My Eating Disorder: Binge Eating (TW) . I dont know if i had an eating disorder but at one point in my life , i was 38 kilograms at 5'6 feet. what you said about control over your body resonated with me. May i ask if you are willing to be interviewed about your condition?
Gelain Litanon Hi Gelain! First of all, I just want to say it’s brave of you to seek help. You’re already starting your journey to recovery. Since I don’t know of any ED expert in our country, I tried other alternatives like hypnotherapy. Search for “Ria Yap” in fb or ig. She helped me a lot in jump starting the healing process :)
You are so brave for doing this. It's ok to not be ok. You're not alone. But most importantly, always know that you are enough
Lesley C. Yeahhh. Took me years to accept and love myself for who I really am. Thanks a lot Les for the support❤️

Where can i seek help?
It's very hard to do this on my own. I feel bad every day.
