  • I'm back at the Fire Mountain Trail system in Cherokee North Carolina to ride Spearfinger Trail. If you are racing the Fire Mountain Enduro, this is Stage 1 of the race. The trail is 2 miles long with 630 ft of elevation loss.
    My goal was to describe the trail as clearly as possible and give you a good perspective of what you will run into during your run. I am not a very fast rider so be prepared to take corners and sections of the trail at a faster speed.
    I've ridden this trail twice so far but it has been really fun learning where you can pick up speed and where the tough pedaling sections are. I'll definitely be trying to better my Strava times on this trail :) !!!

    Looks like it'd be faster on a race HT than an enduro bike.

    Nice job and looks like fun--I am off until the 19th so most likely be heading there but Dupont area 1st, don't feel bad about 'sandbag' legs I will be 64 in December but excellent shape for my age, regardless sometimes after a tough day of riding I need a day of rest or a few Tylenol

    Thanks for putting that up with the racers in mind. Any chance you did the same for the other stages?

      Andy Glas Sorry, I did a video of Kessel Run but it’s not an uncut version. You can get an idea of the trail though. I kept in the most action packed spots in the video.

    Went there couple of weeks ago with my friends, the spearfinger down is more fun than the Kessel.
    Unfortunately, all but one trail are bi directional.

      Mark CZECHALIEN nice! My favorite is going down Uktena trail...but it is tough sometimes since it’s a two way trail.

    Great video! Looks really pedally- should I keep my seat post up on my hardtail? I dont have a dropper.

    • @192BMX
      @192BMX  5 лет назад +1

      Jack Taylor you can leave it up but I would drop it a little to where you can still pedal and have a little more room to maneuver your bike in the corners.
