ABOUT THE TRACK:
It's hard to know what to write, here. Despite the recent slew of fairly depressing original tracks (Turn Back, Where Somber Winds Blow, even Seraphim to some extent) this song's been rattling in my head for the better part of a year or two. I think over time it became more poignant and intense- if you recall a particular stream I just couldn't finish where I was writing a vocal melody, this is that song.
I should indicate that I intend to remain alive as long as possible- the question pondered in this song is less to propose any change in that status, and more to question one's impact among their friends, families, and community. It's just been a very hard year, even before my previous job closed its doors in late May; and I've opted to express some of the rougher things that have run through my head in my preferred medium/genre.

I could never bring myself to comment on this song until now, due to how much it effects me deep down.
This song is much too solemn to put in my normal Eurobeat playlist, but it holds an extremely special place in my heart for how personal, deep and serious it is. It is so full of emotion and it makes me realize how much I take the people I love for granted. Few songs are capable of making me feel this way while also making me able to bob my head in absolute rhythm. You're a beautiful human being, Jessa and my world would not be the same without you. We would absolutely miss you if you were gone.

It took me a while to bump into this comment. My sincerest apologies for the delay.
Since the release of this song, a lot of things have finally started taking turns in the right direction. A few things have become even more difficult- as a few of my recent songs teased out, I've been dealing with harassment from a pretty awful stalker for the last few months. But, music has become a full-time career for me, I'm surrounded by support and love, and things are working out incredibly well.
Now that it's been a while since this song came out, even though the song itself existed for a year or two before I finally committed it to audio, I can confess that this song was on some level a vent of a cry for help. I was in one of the toughest points in my life when I came up with the concept (long before its release, remember), and I was able to pour a lot of my heartache and fear of becoming forgettable and quickly replaceable into this work. Coincidentally, it seems that a lot of my best pieces seem to be the ones where I vent one expression or another (including joy).
Didn't mean to ramble at ya, but your comment gave me a good launching point to detail this. In short, I don't plan to be gone any time soon. If anything, I'm just getting started~

I grew up listening to your works, It started for me with Magical Girl, I was Seven or so when I first heard it. (I just had my Eighteenth birthday in April) as someone who had a pretty rough childhood and didn't get to do much, there's been times where I've had absolutely nothing. Your music has made a huge impact in my life even when I was at my lowest You gave me the extra push I needed to keep going on. No matter what alias you choose to produce under I will always listen, I quite literally grew up listening to your works, so to answer: it would kill me if you were gone and obviously I would miss you, I think I speak for a lot of people

I'm not sure if anyone else has pointed this out or not, but I find that the beat 1:17 sounds sorta similar to Lost into the Night, which was one of the first Eurobeat songs I had ever listened to. Not sure if this was intentional, but it gave me some good nostalgia from about 5 years back now. :)

TBH I actually think in the last chorus it would have been cool to hold out "gone" longer and keep the intrumental going for for 8 measures. IDK why, but I guess it just feels like it would really add an even more emotional ending. Then again, I'm 15 and don't know how to play anything other than saxophone and use Logic Pro!
