    Thank you for the vid! I only came across it a few days ago and as I wanted a T4, I ordered this one also.
    I’ll have to design a case for it. It’s odd there’s no mounting holes or anything that I could find but I guess I’ll have to just work around it.
    Have you written any of your own sketches yet?
    I’m currently jumping from the T-Display S3, the T-QT, The T-HMI and an ESP32 board with integrated 3.5” touch screen. I just cannot work on one thing at a time.

      Thanks for your comment. Well, it is a developer board, is usually, sometimes, launch these products without case, but sometimes they launch the case separated. I remember seen a 3dprint enclosure for it, in this video:
      ruclips.net/video/1oaWRs2te68/видео.htmlsi=UQxGBdnTQ0VdOXzy
      But I'm going to make my own 3dprint enclosure :D

    I pre-ordered this device two weeks ago. It says it is now being shipped to me. I was hoping to run meshtastic on it. My goal is to be able to make a standalone meshtastic device. Do you think this is possible?

      Sure. But for now it isn't officially supported. We should help in the migration. I think that it will be possible without any doubts

      Thanks to comment. Well, the connector itself is a grove connector, like a M5Stack 4 Pin connector, is the same. But sound like it is connected only to tx/rx pins. In the product page, that I added in the description, in the pin diagram, they put that it is Rx(44), Tx(43)

    Can it Emulate a C64/BBC Micro?

    • @hpsaturn
      @hpsaturn  8 месяцев назад +1

      Thanks for your comment. I think that yes. I have a Odroid-GO that has the previous ESP32, and some emulators was working there. The ESP32S3 on the T-Deck is better, same CPU but better CPU cache and some internal modules improvements. For NES and SNES emulator works very well. The C64 emulator I think is more light. I found this:

      @@abdallahnatsheh1522 Yes I agree, but it is a little bit fragile, if you know how to build a box, it will be better. On the other hand is a little expensive. But yes, it is a great board to start too.

    • @MHTSAPAS

      @@hpsaturn This or go for the T-HMI. The T-Display is something you can outgrow quickly. The T-HMI will give you the same features of the T-Display with two side buttons, a touchscreen, speaker and a couple of other inputs.
      Once you outgrow the easy stuff, you can start learning to code the touchscreen, sound, SD card etc.
      All great boards. I have them all except for this one and the T4 which will be coming soon.

      Thanks for your comment. At the 3 second are the specs. Also you can follow the link in the description of the manufacturer. Is possible run Linux on an ESP32 S3 but right now is only a exploration, follow my twitter account @hpsaturn and there I have some information for that. This device is more for development on C++ or Arduino Framework. You able to deploy any application on it, it is for development and learn iOT and embedded devices with LoRA.

    Just wondering.. Why produce something like this? While cool, must be an extremely niche market for it.

    • @hpsaturn
      @hpsaturn  Год назад

      Maybe makers, developers too, because with the ESP32 core you can write code in different skill levels: MicroPython, Arduino IDE, PlatformIO + Arduino Framework, PlatformIO + IDF, IDF alone (Espressif official tool), and pure CMake with C++. I think that is a hobby where you could improve a lot.
