I love how they make snakes look like monsters but they rather hide from us then attack us the only reason why they do is if we step on them or we mess with them
@@yutiarkyuopt5961 even then, on the occasions where they do bite a lot of species will do a 'dry bite' where no venom is released, or very little venom
@@asteranightshade2981 yeah, but still makes the same point that snakes aren't out there trying to eagerly hunt you down for accidentally putting your foot near them. lol
"i don't know a lot of large animals that could chase you down and rip you apart in Australia" I think personally a pissed off wombat fits that role pretty well.
Hello! Snake owner here of a decade :3 . Snakes are actually considered to be defensive animals that will only strike if stepped on, kicked, or tried to be picked up. Snakes are opportunistic eaters and are incredibly well camouflaged which explains why people get bitten or hurt. Hope this helped! Also the pythons are highly invasive largely due to humans purchasing them as neonates not realizing they get literally 17+ feet and released them. No shit they will breed and become invasive. Much love! Edit: obviously some snakes are aggressive and can be - and also to note only a freakish snake defying nature could eat an adult considering our shoulder width.
The first few seconds of this video make me irrationally angry, this is the kind of fear mongering that puts snakes and people in danger. No, snakes are not aggressive, there are no aggressive snakes (except maybe the Black Mamba) they do not attack people unprovoked, ever. They just get scared easily and do defend themselves, but if you scare a snake you can literally just walk away, they won't chase you. This kind of stuff enrages me more than it probably should, but c'mon, it's just blatant lies to make people scared
Same, that's the same reason why people are scared of sharks and crocodiles or alligators too, such beautiful creatures that are being antagonized by dumbasses, so frustrating but so sad🤬😔
Right away the very first snake is bullshit. No anaconda has ever been found over 30 feet, and the anaconda shown in the pic is actually a green anaconda. Yellow anacondas rarely even reach 20 feet. This video is far more “let’s scare the viewer” than “let’s teach about epic snakes” Also, about the story and tragic end of Akbar. At least get it right if you’re gonna tell the story. It was a reticulated python, and thankfully there was no screams or struggling. Based on recent research, if you got wrapped up by a huge snake you’d be rendered unconscious within minutes, so thankfully he didn’t feel much if any pain
I own a boa constrictor naked Rukia who I’ve raised for 5 years and she’s around 6 feet now but not fat like the 10-15 year old mamas out there. She’s incredibly docile and eats frozen thawed rats :3
14:35 “50 feet long Congo snake” *Search’s up how long a titanoboa is* “The titanoboa was estimated to be over 50 feet long” Me:Well that’s just a very convenient coincidence isn’t it now
1:48 yeaaah no , thats a green anaconda, the yellow ones much smaller (rarely more than 9 feet with the all time record being 13ft) so 33ft? yeah, no so sire.idk if 33ft is even right, but if, then its definetly a green one XD
11:10 until you learn that a full throttle kick from a kangaroo can and will easily kill a human if kicked in the right place if not thats either a broken limb or a few cracked ribs while it drags you back to the watering hole it was sitting in moments before hand
Dude my pups ran right next to a rattlesnake before luckily it didn’t do anything it was just laying flat and didn’t rattle at me or my pups & I’m also glad they didn’t noticed it or they would have definitely messed with it
Snakes aren’t actually that agro they just get provoked and fight back The snake fight back because fuckheads that poke em with sticks and shit like that
Honestly one of the last woolly mammoths ever recorded was at the worlds fair in 1904 some guy brought a bloody tusk from one ran it off a clif took the tusk poor mammoth 🦣 💔

I support invasive species are a menace and need to be removed the American honey bee get a pass and that’s it
I love how they make snakes look like monsters but they rather hide from us then attack us the only reason why they do is if we step on them or we mess with them
"attack people even unprovoked" absolute bull, 99% of them are as timid as they come and just want to stay out of our way
@@asteranightshade2981 ikr its bull that they portray snakes this way
@@asteranightshade2981 even some venomous snakes usually shy away from biting humans even when provoked, conserving their venom for prey instead.
