I shop clearance at the end of the season for basics. Then when the season I shopped for rolls around I have brand new stuff and can buy a few trends to complete what I have.
They typically have great deals on the sale rack too!!

You could also layer the skirt over the jumpsuit!! That could give you a few more outfits as well! I work with toddlers and I always wear shorts under dresses and skirts so it’s basically the same concept!
And as an Old Navy cardholder, you’ll also get great deals year round which all stores do but as ON is so inexpensive already, this one really does pay off.
So the tall is online. Sometimes people order clothes on the website and return them make sure you look at the tags. Now that you are a card holder their will be times card holders get 40% or 50% when old navy has those sales and you use your card. Old Navy dose price matching from their website. You do can ordered in store and free shipping to the your house.
Always ask a sale associate if the can see if they have your size. All associates have a computer called a zebra and they can look up different sizes for you or other stores.

The jumpsuit with t shirt over top looks cute but imagine the hassle of going to the bathroom!!! And this might be just me but I’d wear a shorter cardigan with that skirt or a longer one that matched the length of the skirt. I love old navy. Their prices are ok, I wouldn’t pay full price for any of their stuff but on sale, heck yeah!

I’m from Germany and it’s actually a bit strange to see than you have to follow a dress code. My teachers wear all sorts of summer dresses and tops. Loved your outfits 🫶
My school isn’t air conditioned so tank tops and cool dresses are a necessity
I love that the first and second-ish attempt didn't work out because for sure that is how it is when shopping. You have to play with sales and explore options that you weren't going for originally just to come up with an idea of making that dollar stretch.

Serious question! (Teacher here) I avoid jumpsuit type stuff because it’s a hassle going to the bathroom in a jiffy! But a shirt over top doesn’t that really OVER complicate things when it comes to having to pee 😅

Also 5’9 and this is why I do all my shopping online 😂 gap and old navy are great for tall pants, they’re always the perfect length on me
Next time check what they cost on the website also. If it’s less they will sometimes honor that price.

Going to Old Navy for back to school teacher clothes only works if you are slim. Being 65 and a size 2X excludes you from this store. I have to go to Chicos for my clothes; very occasionally Macys will work. 😮
I get plus sizes all the time at Old Navy, especially online!

Old Navy is one of the few mainstream retailers that actually carries most styles from 0-4X in the store. Can’t promise they’ll have what you love in stock in your size the day you go, but they’ve been better than most.
