2024 Deka World Championship Recap

Coach Luke competed in several events, along with multiple TFT athletes, at the 2024 Deka World Championships. Luke talks about his experience at the event and both the good and bad aspects of the championship.

Good content, accurate summary, and fair comments. Thanks for bringing up the lack of swag-finisher medals and T-shirts-a big disappointment for the money. Also, the directions signs aren't great. The banner was small for the WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP. Love the community and the events, we did 2 individual and 5 team relays, we had a good time.

Yeah, there were several things left wanting. They did well on some parts, but they still have a long way to go to build a real, big World Championship event. Glad you had a good time though!

I ran 4 events and received 2 medals and 1 tshirt! There were 0 shirts or medals for fit and mile teams! Total bs.

That's really bad...really bad. I can't imagine how they came up with such wrong numbers for shirts and medals. Sorry to hear that.
