Who doesn't love a great story like this! A low point in life that springboards into an unexpected success. So inspiring! You both have a GREAT day! ❤ 🌻
I loved that your intro talked about chasing stories. You used to say that all the time at the end of your videos, and I've always loved the way you encouraged us. You totally inspired me and I just got back to my mum's driveway after moochdocking and boondocking for 6 weeks all around the Province. I had a fabulous time and I wouldn't have done it without you 🥰. So, thank you! ❤️🚙🇨🇦. Really cool interview! What a great business she created! As a furniture artist I'm completely confident in painting and decor, but no clue about roofs, etc so I totally hear how important the rest of it is. Thank you so much!
Once again, Amber, you shine your light on an exceptional talent. This was an inspirational, informative and empowering interview. And the bonus: the interviewer asked the question, and let the interviewee answer without being interrupted. Great work.
Loved this! They should make conversion Vans and RV's interiors interchangable in the future. All plumbing should be on the inside and easily accessible. Pop a fixture off and a new one on with quick release fittings. Do the same with plumbing pipes and lighting, everything movable, modular and click in place. Cabinets, counters, fridge, heater, stove all moveable and click into floor and wall anchors. Interior wall panels held in place by anchors or Velcro. Easily replaceable without tools. Shower walls and pans should also be easily replaceable. Too much to ask for? If anyone could do this they would lead the industry. Thanks for this thought provoking subject!
Loved this Amber. Beautiful interior. The weight would be a big factor to consider for sure. One thing I've thought of for years is that it's not only the inside, but the outside of the RVs that have been so hideous (in my not so humble opinion). I've never met anyone who loved those loud crazy swooshes and stripes (decals or painted). Yet, I never hear anyone talking about providing something more tasteful or toned down (like cars). I love the rare few smaller trailers that allow you to customize your decals. That's at least a start. I notice the outside of her Montana is as luxury as the inside.
Hi Amber and Lilly, and to your guess korney.Such a beautiful amazing happening for your life change and your very grounded and awesome person Korney. Amber thank you for bring such a Inspirational life changing wonderful true story for everyone to watch and learn and be inspiring. Good Luck to you both in all you do..Take care be safe and God Bless all of us. The Lady GG 62 years young waiting on travel.. Happy Traveling. Gloria from Wildwood New Jersey.😀😀😎😎.
I had already planned on attending her seminar at the Hershey rv show this weekend; I've had my ticket for 3 weeks now I didn't know her 5th wheel is there to view as well.
Yayyy!!! I love this interview. The flipping nomad!!! You were working so hard and dealing with your dads sickness, helping him with his business bammm. You were totally Blessed!!! I’m so so happy for you!!! Keep up with all of your awesome ideas and I’ll def be here to see it all!!!❤️❤️❤️
Wow.....to be able to be a nomad AND create something beautiful that reflects and nourishes you............super inspiring! Wonderful interview on both of you's part!!!
This was an excellent all-around video. Probably the best one I’ve ever seen.. Amber asked a lot of good questions and Courtney you had excellent answers. Thanks for being here. Aloha
I just redid my 2020 toyhauler countertops to corian. The crap they use in rv's for countertops is awful. Found a L shaped piece of used corian for $50. Enough material to do the complete kitchen and bathroom counters-and 2 undermount sinks. Came out beautiful. Corian is so easy to work with and is strong and waterproof. Total cost for remodel is $150! Beat that flippers!
My Gypsy Adventure Thank you very much! 😊🙏 Cortni is a cool lady and super humble. I love how she empowers those to take the bull by the horns and go after it. You should see her backup a trailer. I mean she's fierce!!!
Wow she bought a 5500.00 trailer, only vacuumed it and the RV sold for 11,000. Almost doubled her money. I Love the Beginner's Boot camp classes! Exciting! Thank You!
Manufactures say Oh we can do that in a mass production. That is crazy.. Like just change the colours from Brown brown brown to white cupboards. So manufactures don't have strong skeleton base for Vans. Mass productions mean only money to them for very very little cost.
Check out Ace of Spades RV in Las Vegas. We took a basic about the bones RV course with him several years ago in Langley, BC. Best knowledge to have as an rv owner. James and his wife Teri are amazing, honest, hardworking entrepreneurs. Miss them in Cda. Thanks Amber and 👍Cortni
Thanks for the great interview. If Cortni ever needs a class A to remodel and showcase, I have a nice one with brown cabinets! I hope to see her work at a show sometime.
Being called a "Plugged Princess" to me is very insulting. Everyone has choices about how and why they live in an RV. I'm retired and can't afford to live in a house or apartment. I live in a class C 26' in a small Mobile Home/RV Park in Florida. I AM NOT A PLUGGED PRINCESS!!!! Traveling alone at 70 is not an option for me. How demeaning can one be.
Diane Provencher 😊 It's not meant to be mean and I'm sorry if it offended you. It's just a cute "glamping" RV term that people use when someone is plugging in rather than boondocking. We all have a pluggin princess in us when we get tired of boondocking and just want the "luxury" of having hook-ups and for me a shower! lol I'm so glad you've found this life and you should not be ashamed of it at all. Its a good life whether you stay plugged in at campgrounds or travel. I'm glad we have options.

@@storychasing hmmm so I think you should buy a 5th wheel and do a collaboration with Courtni. Good channel exposure for both of you😉
such a great interview, cool story
Very interesting thank you Amber.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Have fun and take care and take it easy and enjoy it
It's wonderful the RV company wanted to join with her. When they could've hired a designer and did it in house
I just saw that Rv at the Hershey Rv show. Who knew 🤷🏼♂️

We just met her today at the Hershey Show.
Patricia Smith 😊 Oh that's so cool! Did you see her speak or was she around her rig?
@@storychasing yes my husband was more interested in her GMC dually . Lol. She said it's a sponsor truck she gets paid to drive it.

Wow talk about getting served lemons and turning it into lemon aid, 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
What brand of helichrysum do you use?
Beautiful rv
Im about to be homeless Again & i crave a skoolie for me & my 2 cats.
Couldn’t Cortni have moved in w/her dad temporarily instead of her car??
It would be cool if you bought a older RV and did the course to do your own reno.
Celines Steps 😊 lol....Maybe I might. I'm not sure what I'm doing just yet with my situation.
Do you think Courtney would be willing to duplicate the creation of her RV I'm in her exact situation at the age of 63❤🎉🎉❤🎉🎉🎉

Yeah not interested in upkeep of a huge rig. Might as well stay in a house leaving that big a footprint
