I know a lot of caps fans were upset he didnt sign but like he is hardly the first star to take two years of college. It’s been public that the team has the offer waiting for him. Its not a Rutger case where he feels he wont get his shot.
The guy wants to win nationals and the beanpot. He’s going to be the first line winger w Perreault this season. More responsibility. He will get better with another year.

Is he going to get a degree or what? If not what’s the point of being at BC.

He won’t lose any credit for courses he completes, he can finish later on or like some players finish some courses throughout the year.

Winning a National Championship, winning a Beanpot, getting to spend time with friends without as much pressure. Getting some experience in classes even if he doesnt get a degree.

@@riff5fkinot to mention, there's way more skill development in college as opposed to th e NHL. If expect him to make the big club right away, there will be way less emphasis on that aspect
