I have a question. When someone dies in The Garden, do you guys follow a traditional burial and ceremony, or do you maybe just bury them and give them back to the earth? Or is it done another way?
You could dig a hole in the ground, add saw dust, insert metal trash can, add straw/hay to the sides of trash can in hole, then after you cover with lid, then add more straw or hay... then you will have your own free fridge...

@TreeandJulia I just saw the 1st episode of The Garden on Discovery and I felt like the filmers were trying to paint a negative picture, in a very manipulative and underhanded way. I think Tyler plays a double role, the fake one as if he's so enthousiastic and seriously interested to join the lifestyle and the real one to scrutinise the "real" motives of the commune, under the cover of trying to find out if the lifestyle and commune are something for him. I even suspect Narrayah infiltrated into the commune prior to the filming on behalf of the film makers, to stir things up without it being obvious that she is related. They play it well, but their characters are a bit too polished and too cleverly thought out. He plays the character of all American manly man and likable guy, that you don't fuk around with and is a man of his word that you can rely on. And she plays the character that most American women who were not the typical all-American cheerleader type of girl (like 99% of all women), can relate to and identify with. I don't think Narrayah knows exactly what's going on though or about Tyler's alterior motives. She probably is told she is there to see the "truth" as an outsider, of what's "really" going on on the inside. But if they told her to just go ahead documenting everything on film as if that's how she always does in her daily life, very well knowing that the Garden had a lot of negative experiences with exactly that, then I feel like it's a set up. The film makers are manipulating the public to be on the side of Tyler and Narrayah and therefore automatically form a negative opinion against the Garden. Tonight is the 2nd episode and I can't wait to see if I will feel the same. Keep up the good work and all the best to you!
I don't know why people have to judge how others live. People should ask themselves aren't their others judging how I live. I live with many sustainable practices in my life and repurpose many resources. Those that don't will never understand the need to or the teamwork it takes to. #gardenstrong

It’s not so much a place to join as a movement to be a part of, there are many many places all across the US you can find. We do have an event at the garden in Tennessee in the spring in the fall that is a good time to come and meet people in the movement🙏❤️
I've heard so many terrible things about this place...... But its nice to see family working together , and the music is beautiful, good job on the video.... My only problem is the part of the video where dead animal gets chopped up and cooked, that made me uncomfortable, and feel really sad for the animal, someone told be a dog got killed there and it was cooked and eaten, I don't agree with any animals being eaten at all.... I wish bessing to you....
I'm vegan so meat is something I'm very much against. Tho, the meat you see in this video was actually recycled, brought to us by a hunter that wasn't going to even eat it, so I'm glad it could be used & not wasted :)
I hate all the drama you all are getting. I now follow you and roadkill on TikTok! I love the way of living, well the thought of it, I’m not brave enough to do it though!
Why don't you use a clay pot and water, for a fridgerator?. I never lived communaly. But I did live off grid in a one room cabin down by the river for almost 8 years, with No electricity or running water, I stored rain water,

Where is this located
Tennessee!
It’s a pity how much crap you guys are getting. I think your community beautiful. I would consider being part of the community if it’s open. I would like to get with some musicians out there. I play guitar and write songs. And I’ve been to gatherings before so I know how it works. I’m a rainbow too, Lovin’ you!
What is the crap about mostly? I didn't see it.
love the wole thing
Yay!
I just found out about your community and of course I get myself onto the disgusting human videos. Don’t know why but I recognize genuine people when I see them. Keep on the right path! ✌🏼
Hell yeah! Thanks for the support
Tell me you are still there and still going strong
We’re not there right now but others are!
i really hope yall can get this place to be a good place, because there have been a lot of bad people to come and go from the garden, yall need a way to keep people like that out, like the dog skinner, when all that tiktok stuff was going around i disliked yall at first, but i came to realize that the place wasnt bad, it was just run like shit, hope you can make it better
I live near you and in a similar fashion bet alone . Are you up for a visit from a neighbor ???
We are not there right now, but other people are and you can visit anytime, especially right now during the event
❤John 3,16 ❤
how can i join ? i would like that
It’s not so much a place to join as a movement to be a part of, there are many many places all across the US you can find.
How do I apply to come join
Why don't you use a clay pot and water, for a fridgerator?. I never lived communaly. But I did live off grid in a one room cabin down by the river for almost 8 years, with No electricity or running water, I stored rain water,
That’s a cool idea! Would be fun to try
Where is this beautiful place
Is this place in Canada

Losers who don't want to work for a living, call it whatever you like it's still ppl that want to live for free
Yeah Nd u sound real happy so whos actually living better the “losers” or u
@@zoejane1635 You call that living better you have very low standards, that is gross disgusting and nasty. A pig shouldn't live like that.
Free Land for Free people but who owns the land. Does someone let you have your Garden?
Land can be held in common thru community land trusts
How do you get someone off the land who is a threat ?
Is there a population cap ?
How do you deal with waste ?
but who ACTUALLY owns the land?
there’s this white squirrel who hangs out in the back I heard he owns it
Shared ❤ in a Land Trust

Whos in West TN?

Man you two are quantum surfing comments :P@@TreeandJulia
Just living on someone’s land until that person dies. Then what?
Can anyone really own the earth?
😊
