Kimo is a joy. He is so enthusiastic and respectful of each halau. I;ve been several times and that experience keeps me jazzed now when I stream it. I can almost smell the flowers. I live in Oakland CA and we are so proud to have Kumu Mark represent our city. We have a lot more than crime going on here. I loved watching the parade on line last year. I dearly hope it will be streamable this year.

Not so respectful, Kimo was the MC at Emme's memorial services. Kimo along with Lyn Waters thought is was ok to stop Emme's sister from completing her eulogy, this is no joke, moments before the picture as shown in the Star Advertiser, their was Lyn Waters tugging on Emme's sisters dress and Kimo standing behind, bent over her, talking into her ear, telling her, her time was up.
A Memorial Service, with a sister giving a eulogy for a sister is told half-way thru her eulogy "Your time is up"! Who does this? What really puts this in a whole new level is 1- Lyn Waters - producer of the event, gave herself 5 minutes for her eulogy then goes 3 minutes over and Kimo as MC had plenty of opportunities to tell of his experiences with Emme, even though this is part of the MC's job; limiting a relative's expression of grief, denying a family member her RIGHT to verbalize their memories and grief is unforgivable. What do you think Kimo's reaction would have been if he was denied this opportunity for one of his ohana?
I was shocked and frozen as they are kicking Emme's sister off the stage. I started at Kimo on stage and mouthed "WOW" and with him looking at me he said we can't have everyone going over 3 minutes we'd be here until 10:30pm. Services ended around 8:30pm, congratulations Kimo you didn't have to stay up late.
I apologize if this seems out of place, but these are moments that you never forget and will never have the opportunity again, memorial services are over there is no going back. Emme's sister wants to forgive and forget, I am not their yet.
    Thanks for Listening
