5:08, that looks like a sequoia. it gets a little bit hard to prune them when they are full grown. 16:17, note the wiring hanging out of the wall. that indicates that someone is or was intent on repairing this place. its rather old. i think that side room is an addition long ago because it has lining boards, not sheet plaster or other more modern material on the walls. 14:25 i'd put my money on that being a post office. i thought i knew the area within 160kms of melbourne very well yet this is yet another town you have done a video on that i didnt know of.
yes, it does appear so but also works has stopped ... 🤞they get to complete the project - it will be a great looking home once done with some lovely exterior window features
@ 10:00. No that wasn’t a school although I agree it looks like a portable. It was offices for a government authority I think and now a home. The old school was up the road on the opposite side. The house right next door (white) is the house we looked at when for sale 10 years ago.
Kingston is a lovely town. It’s another place we checked out a house for sale when we were looking in the area. The hotel is a nice place for a meal sitting on the veranda. But only open certain days. The old Kingston railway station was near the oval. I believe in the 1970’s they burned old trains (red rattlers or Harris trains - can’t remember ) there.
Great Video - Scheduled/Shared
Thanks 👍

yep, it was a hall of sorts, not a school 👍

I wouldn't mind visiting and looking at the community field / oval with the grandstand next time when open !
It had A sizable railway station which was on the Creswick North - Daylesford branch line
You mentioned the oval and wanting to see it. Pity you were not there today the 30.11.2024. It was Kingston show.
