Wow, and these were just simple moves we grew up with skated always in the 80's and 90's up until I moved to the NL! It's hard to just put on your quads and hit the streets, because the streets are not smooth! Memories Roller Skating California, San Francisco, Venice Beach, Central Park NY, and hitting Roller Rinks from Cali to, Chi Town, Detroit, New York!

If anyone is interested in learning all the moves in my program visit Rollerdance.com There are 24 distinct moves that breaks down each and every step all the way down to clap you see in the video.
I would love to learn some moves like this wondering if there are particular wheel types or skates that work best for doing this? I notice there are no stops on the skates. I currently have a pr. of riedell R3 w/62x38mm abec5 also says 88A I n wheels. Thanks for advice I've only been just getting back to skating since winter has cancelled bicycling! :-)
You will want some artistic wheels. 97a or higher. No wider than 38mm. The R3 is OK for a starter, but you'll want to upgrade those if you start getting serious.
Hello - now? About one hour east of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. There used to be a proper roller rink toward Vancouver but it closed. Are you the lady in grey at the front of the class? :) Very attractive ;)
I'm racist when it comes to anything black, that Caucasian ppl try to learn and claim it as there own don't they have a style of there own yet where the ones the hate but want to be like smh
The girls are not claiming anything, this is just a gathering to practice some moves from Richard Humphrey and Sisters in Motion in the USA. How sad is the way you see things...

I love the video. I noticed the skates don't appear to have a toe stop on the front like the skates. What brand of skates are you using?
Janice Jones you could use any brand and just take the toe stop off or even get tiny ones which are usually used in ballroom for curtsys
