In the 1920s, a new wave of ‘nativism’ swept across the United States. What is nativism? What were the results of this movement?

A time when America openly called for more Anglo-Saxons, Germans, Franks and Scandinavians to plant their feet on her fair shores, to preserve our Nordic Race. Men like Madison Grant were true patriots who earnestly believed they were working in America's best interests to ensure her survival.

USA did not want Germans on their soil, the video actually says that the people tried to disassociate with the German immigrants by changing place names to avoid connections to them, & the Germans lived away from instituitions providing for themselves. The United States did & still does not anyone that is not White Anglo-Saxon Protestants to be here, simple as that.

Mark Lo nothing wrong with nativism. It is just showing immigrants that their place is AFTER native born citizens of the United States. And that illegals have no place
