    Also, in addition to food production and preservation of foodstuffs; the increase in antibiotics and health and safety capacity ensured that cities could develop, and gave people many more healthy and productive years of their lives on average.
    Put all that together, and to an industrialist, this trend was a paradise to be grown and developed.

    It wouldn't be simply factory jobs that got people to move to the cities: it was, by far more, the ability to readily preserve food and make it taste good that enabled cities to grow, as well as food production ability skyrocketing that enabled that trend to occur.
