- In today’s video I going to be installing my new HD upper arms from Traxxas on my Traxxas X-MAXX 8S Monster Truck RC. I will go over the install and then take it for a quick rip.

Just watch the whole video!! They were some nice flips and man I’m glad I’m not the only one that was having those problems, the only way I can get a pinion to stay on the xmaxx or xrt motor shaft is with red lock tight and excessive tightening of the grub screw, nice video man keep it up
Just got a tekno rc pinion which has a larger grub screw in it. Also I made a lil notch where the screw makes contact with the shaft flat. Loaded up the end and threads of the grub with red loctite. Give it a day or two to dry see what happens. 🤞
@@GetTractionRC that sounds like it’s gonna work! Good idea on the notch in the shaft , I always thought about that but never had the right tool for the job
