How Russia and Putin defied sanctions to achieve Top Income Status in World Bank's latest rankings
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 4 июл 2024
- Russia has been promoted to the high-income category by the World Bank for the 2025 fiscal year. This surprising rise, despite Western sanctions due to the Ukraine war, is attributed to a significant increase in military-related activities, boosting GDP and GNI per capita by 11.2%. A noted Russian economist, Prof. Alexander Dynkin, highlighted Russia's self-sufficiency in energy, raw materials, food, and skilled labour as key factors. President Putin emphasised expanding ties with Africa, the Middle East, and Asia. While Russia’s economy is growing, mainly due to war expenditures, the well-being of its citizens remains in question.

Russian leader is not ahypocrite neither is he jealous of the development of other nations
The best comment so far. A leader that seeks the growth of others definitely grows.
Your true bro putin is not jealous for anyone thus why 6 billion people love him so much, but jesus love him more than anyone .....Amen
Thats God's blessings and it mean God is happy for what putin is doing in African and other nation
It's not y , it's that Russia and the people of Russia have a smart and a good leader
and freely elected ?
Russia keeps on winning.
Decoupling from the USD which is hyperinflated is the major reason for this. Rest of the countries coupled to USD is experiencing inflation.😂😂😂... ironic.
Great job, Russia and President Putin ❤
Long live the Russia 👏🏽
Russia reportedly has $75 trillion worth of resources and that's before arctic opens up for exploration.
Venezuela is the most oil richest country in the world , North Korea and Afghanistan are one of the richest countries in the world in minerals , Iran is oil rich , Africa full of everything 😅😅😅😅 good luck 🤞
@@micaeloliveira2727 The difference between Russia and those countries is that Russia pretty much has every type of resources, A industrialized country and a good management.
Venezuela doesn't have the necessary tech for production.African countries don't have good management due to colonization. North Korea has no resources and Afghanistan resources can't be explored because of security issues...
@@j.k.1239 Venezuela and Iran in the 70's were rich and developed but the sanctions killed them 😉 you can't be in a better situation if you can only deal with 20 % of the world.
@@micaeloliveira2727 Neither Venezuela and Iran are industrialized like Russia is.All they have is oil.Meanwhile, Russia is the biggest exporter of grain/Diamonds, Second biggest gold producer, #1 exporter of enriched uranium etc.....
@@j.k.1239 means it is not industrialized , lives out of natural resources 😉 and does some farming.
What do you have at your place made in Russia 🪆 ? Me , I have an old Tetris game for Gameboy .
My vodka is from Finland 😂
The Russian government uses their brains and the leaders work hard !!! Results coming very soon !!!
Well done, beautiful Russia, the future is yours ❤❤❤
Funny - meanwhile reality in russia
- 20% of houses has no inside toilet
- apart military -rest of economy is in the decline (war economy)
- medical care is crap: 7 years shorter lives vs Western Europe + one of the highest alcohol related desists.
- avaition sector is drowning (spare parts problem)
- even with lower costs - average level of living is below Bulgaria (the poorest country in the EU) - minium salary: $210/month!
- corruption is on Africa level (140th place /180) - created current flood in Russia - but excuse is that "rodents eaten the dam" ;)
- infrastructure (apart from big cities) is 20 years behind Europe - commie looking towns+ poor villages
- "brain drain" + population in decline (especially Slavic)
- economy wise, Russia is becoming China vassal (totally depended on)
- reserves are depleted - the war will be funded by higher taxes now
- 15% of refineries are damaged by Ukrainian drones+ over 33% of Russian Black Sea fleet already sunk
- "fake conservatism" - very high level of divorces/abortion/ child abandonment, etc. (only 8% of church attendees - lower than in Holland!)
- "Green Revolution" will damage future profits soon (oil/gas economy)
- Putin can't even protect Moscow against ISIS - despite warnings
- fact that you can go to prison for calling war a war (etc.), - is icing on the cake

Now the New Build of Infrastructure in Russia 🇷🇺.
Very impressive
This proving that Bharat is greatest friend of sir Putin, not the China! Please Putin sahib sir, Bharat is your friend and most humble servant for ever! Jai shree Putin!
Unlike China , India is double head , cannot be trusted ...😏
The west blames China for supporting Russia economy not India! They think Russia would have collapsed without China!
Makes sense.. Russia continues to export essentials while no longer importing pricey superfluous western items.
Because they can 👍
The West, with its language of threats and sanctions 😂.
Russias GDP boost is funded by burning through Russias savings. What happens to this GDP boost, when the money runs out?
Yeah that line may have worked in 2022.
Didn't we freeze most of their reserves like more than a year ago?
Congratulations to Russia. GLORY!
Explore the Arctic Immediately with no delay.
IRAN ECONOMY IS GROWING AS WELL? IS EUROPEAN ECONOMY GROWING?
Well yeah but not nearly as quick ofc.
Then again we are not the ones catching up from a 40-50 year lagging behind.
Don't get overly excited is my advice.
The global south needs DECADES of these kind of numbers to become relevant in the conversation.
And guess what - just like China, the richer people get, the more freedom and education they want.
Spending what's left of reserves on war, will run out of money next year, then we'll talk.
You didn't listen bro, their overall GDP went up, you get that by increasing reserves not by spending them.
Seems illogical but it's the truth.
Also Biden is super senile, like we've been telling you for the past 2 years now.
Hope the "debate" woke you up a bit.

"The counterfactual historical contributions for the period 2004Q1 to 2007Q4 show that positive forex reserves accumulation shocks made consistent positive contributions to GDP growth and employment growth, leading to a consistent decline in the unemployment rate.
We establish that the simultaneous occurrence of forex reserves accumulation and large-scale asset purchases (LSAPs) by the SARB reinforce each other’s effects on the unemployment rate, GDP growth and employment growth.
In the absence of LSAPs, the impact of forex reserves accumulation on the unemployment rate, GDP and employment rate is much lower.
Thus, these two monetary policy balance sheet tools complement each other."

Sanctions caused growth. Whever you see the word”despite” replace it withbecause of....Russias ecomnimy grew because of US and EU sanctions.
And what about inflation digits 😂😂
Western countries sanctions others which do not obey their rules and do to that the country gets a chance to develop their own country's needs
My county need leader like Putin ❤

India has a lot of Bhishma tanks, which is a modification of the Russian T 90. God Bhishma fought on the side of the bad Kauravas, because of the play of gods. In a battle won by the good Pandavas.
And because of the fact that hundreds of Russian T90 are fighting against Ukraine. This is a sign from the gods that Russia will lose the war to Ukraine.
The colors of the flag of Ukraine 🇺🇦 are yellow and blue as the colors of the God Krishna flag. Who was with good Pandavas. And the emblem is the trident of the God Shiva 🔱
