From Season 3 Episode 9: At a Leicestershire horse farm, Drew and Tee rummage through several sheds in search of treasure. Set amidst the eerie landscape of Bodmin moor, the chaps get a tour of a famous inn with a haunted history, but the only thing that scares them is walking away empty-handed. At an architectural salvage yard in Cornwall, Drew first makes a rookie mistake, and later proves his mettle by sealing the deal on a magnificent mantelpiece.

The sellers I like the best are the ones who remember T’s name and treat him as kindly as they do Drew.
Good to see Ansel again, Elmore Court is now beautifullly restored. Fab wedding venue and happy to see how much the owner has learned about his home and how to maintain it successfully.
Great to see Jamacia Inn, Daphne Du Maurie was my fav writer as a teen, growing up in California.
It's crazy that these people will invite him to come and look, but then don't want to sell anything. They should pay him for wasting his time.
Seriously, why not cover them, or put them in another room where you won't take him,

Guess they are hoping he likes what they do - can be a lonely business! Drew has got a great reputation.

They do it to be on TV, and show off how 'rich' they are.

I really enjoy this programme, but one thing that I noticed is that some of the sellers refuse to shake hands???

That first gentleman just wanted exposure for his soon to be business venture. He did not want to sell anything.

I usually find Drew to be a fair-minded chap, and even here he said 'it's dealer to dealer; we need each other; give the man his profit' or words to that effect. Yet he was willing to take an item worth 1500 for just 75. That's not good business, it's a bit of a swindle.
Remember, anything is worth what someone is willing to pay for it.
Drew said he'd pay $400 for it - he's got to make some profit! Anyway it was a great find.
If the dealer didn’t know the fire place insert’s worth he should have asked Drew to bid on it.

I’m with you, sounded good at the time & then he shat on him.
Could have offered him more under the circumstances, as a goodwill gesture knowing he would have paid more anyway. The gesture would have been worth it in more ways than one & proved he wasn’t an ahole.

ironically, Drew messes up when he thought it was an old one, but its a new one instead
so what did dude even have drew in for? just to validate how niee his stuff is? and then whine about the money needed to finish his construction!
To be fair at the start he did say he was 6 weeks to early. I guess for Drew it’s another contact especially when the money runs out.
Drew has nerves to try to buy Daphne du Maurier’s chairs!

his quoted restored px is USU. twice the px he will sell (quoted restored px is 50% or less than the actual worth). in this case , a double Howard sofa restored will sell for GBP6500, his costs is GBP500 ?
The restoration will cost him at lease 2,500 if not more. So he's putting out 3K in the hope it sells for what he wants to get. Have you watched his suction videos where he doesn't even make back what he paid?
People way to proud of their worn out stuff they have no intention of going to the work/expense of actually rejuvenating but what want that top dollar as if they had.
Why does drew go to these places that won’t sell anything. I hate these kinds of episodes
The seller is on drugs, and the reason he wants to make his home a 'sound-proof' home for raves is why he will lose the home for all that came before him. Sad.
Why on earth does he pretend to care about what Rebecca thinks !!
