I never know what to think about the old alloy rods in these motors I just make sure they are straight and if i encounter one that is really difficult to pull the cap off I throw it away for one that fits together easily. Guess I've been luck so far because I understand everyone is buying new M.A.P steel replacements .
I think thats only necessary on the older pre unit twins . Riders didn't like the 6 spring clutch in the a10 and used the Triumph 4 spring clutch from about the same years.

Is that a Harley bottom end/primary in that funky blue chassis?
I know a lot of people like to swap out a BSA clutch for a Triumph one. Are you of the same mindset?
