Don't let them take advantage of you. Good you have pictures. Contact your Better Business Bureau or Consumer agency for help. Also if you did not get the stove that you were shown in the model they will need to rectify that for you. Don't let this slide. Get some help from an attorney that works pro bono. Ask around, you need to have these things corrected for you and your little one.

Definitely keep your leftover carpet ! Never know when you might get a BAD stain or it get extremelywore out and can replace that and patch instead of redoing whole floor
Yes!! This! My cat got sick in the closet and I couldn't get the stains out. We had enough carpet to replace it. You can also have the edges sewn to make an accent rug for your laundry room or other ares of your home.

Yeah I like carpet too, but mostly for bedrooms. It's a lot more sanitary/ keeps odors at bay/ easier to clean/ doesn't collect human & pet hair, having hard floors in the common areas of the home. Plus if a child spills something or a pet has an accident oh my goodness SO much less stressful to deal with if you have floors as opposed to carpet! Lol

at around the 2 minute mark you mention that your stove knobs are at the bottom instead of the top , if you take a look those are actually the newer more expensive models ,they gave the wall and the kitchen a more seamless look , just thought you should know in the event you paid the price of an older model you got a steal
Get cabinet and draw liners to help keep the bottoms from getting dirty dollar tree has the sticker ones and non sticking ones to its a life saver I don't have to mess up my bottoms just lightly wipe down with a light wet or disinfect wipes

Also, what made you decide this option? And can a foundation basement be added if a person desire? Tell your dad you need tack strips around the perimeter of the carpet and he will need a knee kicker to strech the carpet to the tack strips. That will get the hump out of the middle.
Side Note: The Carpet Pieces can be used in the bottom of closets. Looks as though they just need to tighten up the sink pipe connector. The child protects knobs will fit...you just take off the stove knobs ..then put the protector on...and the knobs go back on then it locks. The dishwasher is simple the hand book gives the one two three....And many people don't know... using a dish washer actually Saves! $ on the Water Bill.😊👍🏿👍🏿 Again....
