Why do we need to speak English, when our audience can understand the mother tongue and national language. This language chaos is suppressing a lot of talented people.
What's the real story???
When people start discrimination other people because someone is not speaking English, then it is alarming. It has been happening for years. And now today, we are living in time where people who can't speak English lost confidence in putting their remarkable ideas across the audience. And this is not good for society that needs innovation very badly. So this is why, it is very crucial to rebuild the confidence within the people by showing greater values of their culture and language.
That's not all...
Don't kill your idea, creativity and your self esteem because you don't know how to express it in English. After some age, if you having a hard time in learning English, don't adjust at all, don't worry. Let those people adjust for you who know Hindi and other language. Respect your self no matter what If you don't then no one else will.
Why does this matter?
Soul of India - Proud to be an India, is about removing discrimination happening to individual based on language they speak. It is often observed that people who speak regional tongue feel inferior in certain surroundings. This film is about inspiring them to accept themselves no matter what language they speak. India is culturally diverse country and no one should feel ashamed but feel proud to say 'Proud to be an India'

The first part of the video has legitimate argument.In day to day dealings, Indians should use Hindi,Punjabi,Tamil ,Gujarati or whatever their regional language is.But learning English is also a practical necessity.It is language of International business and technology.The Web is mostly English and off course,English happens to be one of the official language of India.

It's the problem with india that we have many Languages. May be we are rich in our culture and i am proud of that. But at first, you should need to know that the national language of india is not the mother tongue of all indians. We learn to speak English not because of the fact that we hate our own mother tongue or English sound's better. But only because English is the the most globally accepted language. And i as a student of science always feel that the time when we needed to flourish our own natural language in science was the time India just became independent or was going to be independent. But it was not done. So, our language has lagged in that respect and the other language English flourished There are also many reasons behind it but this place is not the perfect place I feel to tell

Hey. I I truly agree with this. India is ancient nation , they have to keep their nation pure,clean . You have to be liberal and take all the new good things , but only considering that English is the level of intelligence is so wrong. I hate to see that Bollywood movies almost became Hollywood,that looks funny ,and we foreigners look for real Indian soul and image .

We should all be proud of our rich heritage. .. I am so amazed by how many non- Indians love our culture, they take time to understand the philosophy. Not all Indians are proud of this and don't take time to understand the beauty of it all... I have never been to India but try to learn all I can about my heritage.

First of all hindi is not the national language of india. But since the message you want to convey is more important than this petty fight. Let us see to the solutions. Since i am from tn i have seen the efforts many youngsters take and i will provude it here.
1: In colleges and other institues language club (ex. hindi sabha or something like that. In my college we have Thamizh mandram) must be started and active participation should be encouraged.
2: The main advantage of english is it is in pace with modern world. Words like selfie e.t.c dont have an equivalent in our languages. We prefer to use english words for technological terms. In TN we have a group in the internet for coining Thamizh words for every new word. For example selfie=kaani.
3.Hip hop tamizha of TN addresses these kinda issues regarding dissapearance of thamizh through his rap songs( he has even made videos on jallikattu's necessity to save native indian breed). Since he adds these messages with rhyme and rhythym the reach it has is awesome.
So we need to be advancing with technology and if one day people realise their mistakes they should be in a position to use that as a replacement. Jai hind.ஆங்கிலம் பேசினாலும் தமிழன்டா!!!!!( Even if i speak english I am a proud thamizhan).
