Great to see youre having a good time in Sweden, Sven 👍 I love playing padel but have been forced to take a step back since getting plantar fasciitis six months ago. Cant wait to be back on the court again 100%. Thank you for your inspirational videos. Vamos! 🇸🇪
Thank you for this clinic! With positioning at the first post to attack the ball that was played into the corner, you could get lobbed. The person who is lobbed, should also be the person who retrieves the lob right? Even though you are that close to the net. Or can you use the tennis tactic aswell on certain occasions? Thanks in advanced!
Hello Sven thanks for your video super interesting, I will like to see one lessons on the match-lesson with your clinic, sorry for my English !!!! Andiamo Sven!!!!😂😂😂
Hello, nice video as usual. One question about the positioning at the net. Are you supposed to be that close to the net when you are attacking? I find it hard to do a decent volley, it becomes more of a block instead of takin the step toward the volley. I really liked this kind of video about positioning. Things I haven’t thought about before.
Thank you! This is the “standard” positioning. You can change this depending on how fast your opponent is playing. If they play fast its better to move back. But if they play a lot of chiquita’s its better to move forward
What is the best advice you can give a life long tennis player who is just starting out in padel? I have been playing for 7 months and i quickly progressed but now playing the top guys in my area i cant seem to progress
Master the lob (High and backspin instead of fast lob just to pass the opponents). I'm telling you this cause as a tennis player you probably play good shots but direct and don't give yourself time to get into the net and control the game.
@@OtroNivelPadel Finally been able to watch the video in full. I have 2 questions: - You mentioned freezing before hitting. Can you explain this one more time and the importance of it to train this from the start? - Just to confirm: if your partner can't reach for a ball on their side and you fan save it, that is okay right? As long as you can recover the position on your side, right? Or is calling "switch" okay too?
@@OtroNivelPadel Hi and sorry could have been much clearer. I saw that one of the guys was playing with Vivobarefoot shoes. do you see any benefits to it or is it just an injury risk?

Very good, love that one of "playing at least 2 or 3 times to the same defender". Thanks👍

Yes correct. You can switch positions depending on your opponents or previous shots and use this as a basic guideline

Become a master with the glass and volley slower with more slice
