Here's a problem with that situation of reporting it is that if it's Amazon they don't care. I've had many packages stolen due to the fact that Amazon and their own Amazon drivers will leave the package even though instructions say never to leave package unattended and when reported I was then banned from using Amazon to purchase anything and basically told it was my fault my package was stolen even though I left clear instructions for the package never to be left unattended and even when called and spoke with customer service they told me that this would not be an issue and I would not be labeled at fault but that was a lie

Drivers don't pay attention to delivery notes. On many occasions I say that I want the package to be delivered to the back door. Every single time I found it in the front. This is why I use Amazon lockers as often as I can.
