Bri is quite the character. I am the person that lost all of her chickens to predators. Well, today is hatch day. 4 chick's so far. New life is amazing.
I live near an Air Force base and there are times we have those jets go over at treetop level . They rattle the windows something fierce. And scare the bejesus out of the farm animals. I have waved at the pilots as they went over and they would drop a wing to let me know they saw me.
Hi Pawpaw, love your stories. When I was about 10 or 11, I lived in a city (between Milwaukee and Chicago). We had a neighborhood of many children our age that we played with everyday. A farmer from the county would come into our neighborhood and hire us to do day labor picking raspberries, strawberries, detassling corn, for cash. It wasn’t a lot of money but to us kids it was. It was super hard work and hot. He’d pick us up and bring us home in his truck. People were more trusting and trustworthy back then so our parents let us as long as we could be together. Haven’t thought of that memory for over 50yrs. Bri is such a beautiful woman. She gets her strength from you Pawpaw. All the women of Morrow Hill could rule the world! Hardworking, smart, beautiful.
Rehome him to Lester he loves goats and he just lost Chip. ❤ You could just drive over to Lesrer one day with the goat and put it in with his and see how long it takes him to notice he has 1 extra goat.

My Daddy farmed with a horse,mule or ox all his life. We planted and gather all the crops by hand. The job I hated most was hoeing and pulling corn by hand. The other was loading and stacking hay. Both were the hottest jobs on the farm. But you are right. It was family working together and making memories that will never be made by the younger generations.
TY for the stories. Being a city child, my farm memories were of my Grandparents little place. Mom and Daddy were on their 2nd marriages. Daddy would take us to the farm almost every weekend to help. No indoor plumping, fields of beans/ corn. Old mule , chickens , hogs, barns. Scared little city girl, grew to love the time we spent there. Spent life in the city, but back to a rural area for final years. Don't farm, but my 13 acres are a slice of heaven , the peace and quite can't be beat.

Good morning. I missed this one yesterday because I had to take my step sister to the ER. She is battling stage 4 cancer. Her husband is very ill also, and I am the only one they can depend on helping with for appointments or whatever they need. I would appreciate you saying a special prayer for them. She has now lived 5 months longer than her Dr told us and I say thanks to God. ❤

PawPaw, my dad had a Farmall tractor and he spent long hours tilling the land. He always side dressed his crops. Most people nowadays have no idea what is meant by side dressing. When I was little, Mama would make cold iced tea in a quart jar p, and I would walk out into the field to take it to him. Your stories really bring back memories.❤

I love watching that video of you guys being on your tractors and getting the hay bells. Well the right round hey hey, I thought that it was pretty cool. Hans came in and out and was like totally in sync with each other. I think did a great job and I’m so happy about all of that and yes, familyis everything and you guys show how much love they have for each other when you need each other, that to me is what you call a loving family well, thank you for sharing all of you and pawpaw. My family lived with my grandpa. He had a Farmall tractor that you had to crank on the front to start. He used that tractor for everything but picking corn. That he used "Fred" the draft horse and a Fred pulled a wagon behind him to haul the corn, picked by hand. Fred was the only horse we ever had to ride. Used a bathmat as a saddle and had to wait for him to go back to the barn to get off. He was a big dude. Grandpa farmed 80 acres in lower Michigan.

Those guys tore up my poor hens, I have 10 hens, so we let one stay with the hens and the other 3 have their own coop and 40 ft. Run.I hope you and Gigi have a blessed weekend. Good Evening Paw Paw. When my dog got sprayed by a skunk I could smell her coming also. Did not get to the dog door in time to stop her so my house smelled bad for a bit. My grandparents were crop farmers Pawpaw, I've seen some tall corn. Got lost in it at 4, or so I thought, lol. Some of my best memories were on the farm with them. With everything on her plate between kids and animals Bri needs that crop Pawpaw, haha. And definitely "re-home" those snakes Pawpaw, I've seen what a copperhead can do, it's not pretty. Hi PawPaw! Been watching you since you started making videos! My 90 yr old dad was born in Kentucky & lived on a farm. No running water, no electricity, small one room house. My grandparents had a mean dominicker rooster that would get my dad after he came home from his one room schoolhouse. My grandpa told him to carry a big stick to "defend" himself as that old rooster was hurting him badly every day. Needless to say that rooster didn't bother him anymore! 😂 Then my grandparents moved the family to Michigan so grandpa could work in the Chevy car factory & grandma was a teacher. My second job ever I worked in Indiana at a corn sorting place. I worked in the building at the convayer belt. We would sepporate the male from the female corn. We would find rats coming down the belt along with snakes. My first day was funny cause i'm standing at the belt and got so dizzy from it moving I about fell over. I was so ambarrassing. Others said they did the same thing. I worked with my sister and mom. We would have corn fights while things were slow. So much fun.
Yes, you do work Pop's. You do anything and everything you can do. And probably a few things you should not be doing. I've given up trying to talk you into new knee's. You got your head/heart on suffering thru the rest of your years. I'm so glad 21 years ago had both hips replaced. And best take care of my knees.

Square bales are hard work! Then can the round ones! I learned the hard way that hay forks not lowered in tractors was dangerous! An to watch where you park the tractor 🚜🙏❤ Backed my first car into the hay fork and it punctured a hole in my car trunk🤷🏼♀️🤦🏻♀️
My Grandad grew corn and baled hay ,he used Mules to gather his corn and he had a tractor to haul hay .l learned how to use the tractor and drive the Mules when I was a little girl. Love your videos and your stories ❤️

I was wondering why the hawks haven’t killed any of the other birds or squirrels, I didn’t know hawks we’re afraid of crows . I have always wanted to live in the country but been a town kid growing up, I was lucky enough to help farmers during summer break from school with some of my friends from school. If anybody thinks farm work is easy even with today's equipment they just don't know. After watching you & all your kids & grandkids channels I thought of maybe starting a channel but it would be boring cause all I got is cutting tree's & splitting for heat in the winter & mowing my sister's 5 Acres. Maybe doing work on her pond, the only other thing is when deer season starts pretty boring to me plus a name for the channel. I was thinking the other day I wish I could go back in time to the family reunions when I was a kid and record all the stories my aunts and uncles would tell around the campfire. They are all gone now, and any stories that weren't written down are lost. It is good that you are recording your stories. 💖💖💖

I love watching that video of you guys being on your tractors and getting the hay bells. Well the right round hey hey, I thought that it was pretty cool. Hans came in and out and was like totally in sync with each other. I think did a great job and I’m so happy about all of that and yes, familyis everything and you guys show how much love they have for each other when you need each other, that to me is what you call a loving family well, thank you for sharing all of you and pawpaw. I wanted to also thank you for being there for Lester when he needed you to most couldn’t have done all that without all of you well he could’ve but it would’ve took him a lot longer lol but it was great seeingall of you together I bet there’s a lot of people out there wishes. They had a family so close and so loving that’s there whenever they need them. Good afternoon Paw paw, loved listening to your stories from the past. The corn picking with all the family,could you imagine the kids of today having to work out in the field picking them by hand.They would be moaning and whining. Lovely seeing the boys with you on the side by side and the goat. You and Ben have done a great job on that wood pile. Thank you for sharing.

My family lived with my grandpa. He had a Farmall tractor that you had to crank on the front to start. He used that tractor for everything but picking corn. That he used "Fred" the draft horse and a Fred pulled a wagon behind him to haul the corn, picked by hand. Fred was the only horse we ever had to ride. Used a bathmat as a saddle and had to wait for him to go back to the barn to get off. He was a big dude. Grandpa farmed 80 acres in lower Michigan.

I know some new folks might not have heard them. Y'all did a awesome job getting up the hay. So nice of Lester giving you some. I have the same problem you have with the roosters. I love to hear them crow too. My hen hatched out 6 chicks and 5 were roosters. We lost one to a predator. Those guys tore up my poor hens, I have 10 hens, so we let one stay with the hens and the other 3 have their own coop and 40 ft. Run.I hope you and Gigi have a blessed weekend. Good Evening Paw Paw. When my dog got sprayed by a skunk I could smell her coming also. Did not get to the dog door in time to stop her so my house smelled bad for a bit. At least she figured out what a skunk was from then on. Nice to hear your stories and all the family get-togethers even though it is work. Have a great blessed evening

My grandparents were crop farmers Pawpaw, I've seen some tall corn. Got lost in it at 4, or so I thought, lol. Some of my best memories were on the farm with them. With everything on her plate between kids and animals Bri needs that crop Pawpaw, haha. And definitely "re-home" those snakes Pawpaw, I've seen what a copperhead can do, it's not pretty. Hi PawPaw! Been watching you since you started making videos! My 90 yr old dad was born in Kentucky & lived on a farm. No running water, no electricity, small one room house. My grandparents had a mean dominicker rooster that would get my dad after he came home from his one room schoolhouse. My grandpa told him to carry a big stick to "defend" himself as that old rooster was hurting him badly every day. Needless to say that rooster didn't bother him anymore! 😂 Then my grandparents moved the family to Michigan so grandpa could work in the Chevy car factory & grandma was a teacher. They were the best grandparents! Kinda like you & G! How I miss them. Anyway I just wanted to tell you the dominicker story. I love your videos. I watch all the Morrows! Have a great day Pops! 🐓❤🐓

My second job ever I worked in Indiana at a corn sorting place. I worked in the building at the convayer belt. We would sepporate the male from the female corn. We would find rats coming down the belt along with snakes. My first day was funny cause i'm standing at the belt and got so dizzy from it moving I about fell over. I was so ambarrassing. Others said they did the same thing. I worked with my sister and mom. We would have corn fights while things were slow. So much fun.
Yes, you do work Pop's. You do anything and everything you can do. And probably a few things you should not be doing. I've given up trying to talk you into new knee's. You got your head/heart on suffering thru the rest of your years. I'm so glad 21 years ago had both hips replaced. And best take care of my knees.

Square bales are hard work! Then can the round ones! I learned the hard way that hay forks not lowered in tractors was dangerous! An to watch where you park the tractor 🚜🙏❤ Backed my first car into the hay fork and it punctured a hole in my car trunk🤷🏼♀️🤦🏻♀️
My Grandad grew corn and baled hay ,he used Mules to gather his corn and he had a tractor to haul hay .l learned how to use the tractor and drive the Mules when I was a little girl. Love your videos and your stories ❤️
Morning paw paw and Gigi & everyone else. Well I just learned something.. we feed birds and squirrels and we have 3 very large crows as well. I was wondering why the hawks haven’t killed any of the other birds or squirrels, I didn’t know hawks we’re afraid of crows . I would hear the crows make loud sounds and I thought maybe they are warning everyone a predator is lurking about. Thanks I just learned something new! Have a great day! Love the video !

Good morning PawPaw. I love it when you show all the animals & telling the old stories back when you was growing up. I have always wanted to live in the country but been a town kid growing up, I was lucky enough to help farmers during summer break from school with some of my friends from school. If anybody thinks farm work is easy even with today's equipment they just don't know. After watching you & all your kids & grandkids channels I thought of maybe starting a channel but it would be boring cause all I got is cutting tree's & splitting for heat in the winter & mowing my sister's 5 Acres. Maybe doing work on her pond, the only other thing is when deer season starts pretty boring to me plus a name for the channel. I was thinking maybe you and Kim can figure out how to use it in the kitchen your are going to remodel. Ben thought it was good to keep it since it’s a part of your history years ago. I love hearing the stories. I was thinking the other day I wish I could go back in time to the family reunions when I was a kid and record all the stories my aunts and uncles would tell around the campfire. They are all gone now, and any stories that weren't written down are lost. It is good that you are recording your stories. 💖💖💖
