What did you press to bring up the menu at 1:05? Also the work you are doing in the menu on the upper R corner is cut off so it's guesswork to figure out what you are doing there.
I pressed the spacebar to switch to a color model - otherwise the green facegroup was not showing up. In the upper right I just set the home or the front view, so the model comes back to where I like it when I hit [V].
