Thank you. Yes the dry healing is good for moist or oily skin! 😃

What did you have done? Do you have oily skin? I don't have oily skin. The last time I had eyeliner done, she said don't apply anything. It got so dry and painful I used Vaseline and my pain was decreased.

After my permanent make-up healed, What facial products can a person use to keep the skin and makeup glowing and healthy, with out the tattoo fading? I love steam room and exercising, at least three times a week, will this make my tattoo fade fast then before the two years mark? I also love facials and I get them every month, will I be able to get them without damaging my permanent makeup? I also love spray tans and I get them every summer, Will this damage the appearance and longevity of my permanent makeup?

Hi, you can use any products you wish but please stay away from the tattooed area at least two finger widths. Steam rooms and exercising will both speed up your skin metabolism and therefore you may need more subsequence touch ups/boosts. I recommend anyone who is this active to come every 6-9 months. When you go spray tanning put some Vaseline over the eyebrows beforehand. When getting facials do not have your esthetician put any product on them. Hope this helps.

To avoid those facial ingredients is for short term care or long term care? Does that mean they can’t use those products anymore?

Hi, this particular video is for short term care. After it is healed you can use products but it is still advisable to avoid the eyebrows with your products for longevity.

I am 99% sure I will not get a response. I have permanent makeup eyebrows & have been told by sunscreen companies that you can NOT and should NOT blend in the physical sunscreen too much or you will undo the SPF. It has to sit on the skin/brows to do its job. Well, that would mean I have white brows if I could not blend it in, and chemical is not an option because my eyes sting to death if I get chemical sunscreens anywhere NEAR my eyes (unless there are some that don't do this that I don't know of). Also almost every sunscreen I have looked into has some form of hyaluronic acid--typically in the middle or close to end of ingredient list. Thanks!!!!

Hi, thanks for watching! I understand what the sunscreen companies are saying but I have been doing permanent makeup for over 30 years and we always have people massage the sunscreen in. It protects the permanent make up and really helps to keep the color from fading and also from changing. The trick is to not use a sunscreen that has any active ingredients in there expect for zinc. Try to find a clear zinc. They are readily available these days. Hope this helps!

@@PigmentaTV I am getting mixed info on hyaluronic acids and all the derivatives of it including Sodium Hyaluronate, hyaluronan can fade permanent makeup. It is in almost every single physical sunscreen I have checked out. It is mostly in the 10-14th ingredient list on most sunscreens. I have used Dermalogica products for my face for probably over 35 years. This is what Dermalogica told me about my concern, 'I watched the video you sent and it only mentions to avoidh hyaluronic acid but does not explain why. From some quick research I do see others making this recommendation, however they seem to be grouping it with exfoliating ingredients as though all acids are the same, and that is certainly not the case. Hyaluronic acid will not promote exfoliation or cell turnover.

As far as vitamin c, most of the information I can find refers specifically to avoiding the use of L-ascorbic acid, since this form of vitamin c is acidic and can be irritating and potentially cause more cell turnover. We do not use this form of vitamin c in very many products, and the minimal amount found naturally in the tiny percentage of fruit oils and extracts we are discussing should not be enough to disrupt or fade your permanent cosmetics.'
Plus I have been researching sunscreens constantly, and have never come across a clear zinc product with only zinc in it.
