How to Harvest and Dry Rosemary

In this video I'll show you how to harvest and dry rosemary.
There are a few options for drying rosemary, each with their own pros and cons. In this video I use the air drying technique. I find this technique is the best for preserving the rosemary flavor and scent, however it does take a couple weeks. I prefer this method to using a dehydrator or baking in the oven, because while those methods are faster they don't preserve the natural taste of rosemary as well.
You can also use the tips at the start of the video for harvesting rosemary and using it fresh! I have an herb roasted chicken recipe coming soon where I use my own fresh rosemary.
