The Akita Nairiku Line (秋田内陸線 Akita Nairiku-sen) is a Japanese railway line located in Akita Prefecture in northern Japan. It operates between Takanosu in the city of Kitaakita and Kakunodate in the city of Senboku. The Akita Nariku Line is the only railway line operated by the Akita Nairiku Jūkan Railway (秋田内陸縦貫鉄道 Akita Nairiku Jūkan Tetsudō, "Akita Inland Longitudinal Railway").
Trains on the line are operated as "Local" (all-stations), "Rapid", "Special Rapid", and the Moriyoshi Express service.

This seems to be a very tourist-oriented route: pauses to take pictures of field art, multilingual station announcements. A lovely summer ride.
I am passionate about Japanese culture, always preserving its traditions and the environment. Each landscape I see has been more beautiful than the other, shown on board these trains that resemble trams.
I feel the same way. Hoping you're a fan of Studio Ghibli films and Hayao Miyazaki as well.

本列車の運行の三幕構成はこれ。
第1幕:角館駅を発車
第2幕:秋田内陸線を走行
第3幕:鷹巣駅に到着
What are those blue tarps? Tents? After tunnel at around 117
I remember watching a video of railway line in Japan which is been operated by an individual and his team. That line was supposed to be closed. The most impacted would have been the elders staying along that line. So to make that line viable, this team runs a monthy special service where the train runs for 8 hrs back and forth on the 30 km line. Makes people remember the night trains which is now kind of dead with the commissioning of Shinkansen.
They also implemented other ways to keep the line alive. Like placing one's name on the railway fish plates.
Any clue which line is this? Can u take a video of this line too.

At 2.23 you can see that the other line is wider - Stephenson's standard guage (1435mm.), in fact. It is for the Akita Shinkansen.
