If anyone is having trouble or taking too long to identify your pattern in the roulette, here's a hint that worked for me. Pay attention to COLORS: Solid Red Suit -> Solid Black floor Solid Black Suit -> Solid Red floor Striped Red Suit -> Striped Red floor Striped Black Suit -> Striped Black floor Summing up, if you card is SOLID, search for the OPPOSITE floor color. If it's STRIPED, search for the CORRESPONDING floor color. For example, if you pick: Solid Spades -> search for SOLID RED floors when roulette is spinning (there will be 2, club and spades). Striped Diamonds -> search for STRIPED RED floors when roulette is spinning.
I miss the Esther usage segment. It was something really useful for people who run their own parties, and difficult to figure out alone during the raid.
This is probably the highest quality guide I've ever seen. Seeing what happens when you fail a mech and demonstrating the "don'ts" - absolutely top notch.
Hi ATK, I have a question. In the reflect stagger check, how does this affect "center/no direction" hitting skills like Doomsday, Punishing Strike, Inferno, etc? Should this be something that shouldn't be casted during this mechanic? Or would it be safe to cast as long as Sorc isn't in front of the purple shield?
4:36 Heart and Spades look almost the same, and depending on particle effects or where your party members are standing, you won't see the notch indicating the spade. I assume the colors are always the same? And that spade is always across from the club? Frankly, even though that isn't a wipe mechanic, it really could use some tuning to be a challenge, but also not based on 21:9, normal UI scaling, and perfect 20/20 vision. (And I don't mean remove the mechanic completely like they have done with Guardian Raids)
For roulette; you can also find it easier like this if you are more prone to being reactive in seeing colours: Look at your symbol; and look at the colour Then look a floor that is the opposite colour of your symbol and then match the symbol. For example - If you have red heart with a stripe, Look for a black floor with a stripe then match the symbol (heart) - If you have a black spades with NO stripe, look for a red floor and match the symbol (Spades)
ATK's guides are hands down some of the absolute best guides out there for learning. His explanation of everything is very clear. Looking forward to gate 2 video.
Not atk but the elgasia abyssal dungeon (kayangel) drops the mats needed to upgrade set to lvl 3. The ilvl req for hardest difficulty for that is 1580 and it releases after brelzhasa legion raid :)
Bro he said "Everyone needs to stare at the real saydon to avoid death" But he said it so fast I thought he said "Stay". I kept dying and couldn't figure out why lol
i cant wrap my head around the lights out thing. Is the one with the heart the safe zone you need to look at and those who point finger guns are no look zones or what?
i didnt get the "find the real saydon" mech. so when you determine which ones the real what do you do ? all look at him ? all look away ? everyone looks at some other saydon when theirs not real ? i didnt get it....
He shows a sign with his hands of either a gun or a heart (people in KR ping the hearts) and then you determine which one out of the three does the different one and look at him. For example, if there are three pings at 1,5,7 you look at 11, if there’s only one ping, you look at the one ping
4 Saydons spawn at 11, 1, 5 and 7. Every member needs to go to their positions and see what he does. 3 Saydons will do a Heart Gesture and 1 will throw confetti/ stars. You need to look at the Saydon that did the confetti gesture to avoid dying. KR people ping if it's heart and the one who didn't ping, the other 3 members must look at it.
@@ganrielzembago5622 That doesn't make sense to me. Why ping 3 hearts, when you can just ping the correct one you're going to look at? Seems much easier.
@@fatallyfresh3932 it's not really the "concrete rule", it's just that KR people like to ping the hearts for no particular reason. Just call it out to your team beforehand since most people will do what KR people do after all.
@@fatallyfresh3932 cuz it can either be 3 hearts 1 sparkle or 3 sparkle one heart. You dont always know which one is right, not in discord so u would have to all type instead they ping

Yeah, that's it, I'm done. This is absurd, this many mechanics with mini game BS just takes away from the fight, and make it feel like something else. I'd much rather have mechanics that require you to play well, not whatever this is. Yet they seem to keep adding more with each new raid/dungeon, I mean this raid was so bad for that, they added a solo training function for the big one in the third gate. I'm going back to the Dark Souls games, and other similar games for challenging combat. At least with them you're not stopping now, and then to do some fucking mini games, and are rewarded for playing well, not dragged down when some random twat in my group screws up, no matter how well I played.
At least try it like what? Also no way is this gate more mechanics than g3 vykas Imo, extra fight mechanics makes things more interesting anyways, do you just want a target dummy to wail on for 5 minutes?
@@stosto3733 Like with anything, they can be taken too far, which is what I feel is going on with legion raids in particular, as there's too many things where you basically stop the fight, to do something else. These would be things such as: -Leading a ball that changes colours into a gate of a given colour, when the ball is the correct colour. -Typing tests. -Leading the correct card, to the correct player. -Stand here, move there. -Do the correct emote. Then there's just a mass of them, to the point that Maxroll guides will have a cheat sheet for each phase. There can be nothing intuitive about these mechanics, you either know what they are in advance with a guide, or you figure them out with a blind group through trial, and error. Although by about the second week, about all you'd find in the party finder is people insisting on everyone knowing what to do, so they can have fast runs, or people selling buses. Now think about how imposing that all is for people that weren't doing it from the first week, and don't have a fixed group to do that content with. If everything was so great, selling bus runs wouldn't be a thing, people would just be playing the content instead, but it is, and many use them, as many can't be bothered, and honestly, many also aren't capable given the kind of morons I kept running into. That's also a problem in of itself, there's so many trash players that if you don't have a fixed group to do the content with each week, a twenty minute piece of content, can take multiple teams, and multiple hours to do once when relying on random teams, now multiply that by multiple pieces of such content, and multiple characters. That's why I'm done, it's way too much hassle for me to want to deal with, and I haven't really bothered with any of the legion raids because of that. I'd much rather play something like Dark Souls type games where my success, or failure is due to how well ***I*** play, and I'm not stopping the fight now, and then to play typing tutor, or something.
