Must say one of the best reviews I’ve seen.
Thanks for the positive comment!!
Thank you so much for taking the time to show this vehicle with this trim. Most reviews are for top trim models and not everyone wants those, like me for example, I have to have cloth interior because I get physically ill sitting on leather. Plus you know like the salesman said in the movie "Commando" leather is hot and leather cracks. I really really like how that second row folds up and out of the way to gain access to the third row. That's the best I've seen of any vehicle! Plus that second bench looked humungous as you showed it to us. Looks like 3 adults could be quite comfortable; more so than any other second row bench I've seen. Yeah you really can't get this kind of info building and pricing this on GMC's website so thanks again for your time sharing your real-world experience. I'd also like to add how, with this engine, GM gave consumers a reason to get out of an older Yukon and into a new one. My gripe before this engine was that the newest 5.3 liter gets no more better fuel mileage than my 2002 so why would I want to essentially make a lateral move (no real upgrade) and spend 65k to do it? It just wouldn't make sense, but because of this 3.0L Duramax I no longer have that gripe. And I take really good care of my vehicles and proverbially ride them until the wheels fall off and an inline 6 cylinder diesel is going to make my journey even easier were it pertains to up keep/maintenance. They've already improved this engine since its first offering too. The upgrade makes sense to me now because it actually will be an upgrade. *THANKS AGAIN!*
Thank you for your insightful comment. I agree with all your points. Best of luck to you!
❤❤❤ gotta give it to you. You are the only persons video I’ve seen in regards to the duramax on th Yukon. I’m definitely looking forward to purchasing a Yukon and will be settling for an slt. Yes the Denali is too expensive for what it offers. Heck all trims should have a little more features for the price. Powered tailgates have been around for over a decade now, you would think it’s mandatory like the third brake light IMO. Thanks for the video. Great job.
I'm glad this helped! Thanks for watching!!
Great review, thanks so much for real day to day coverage! Subscribed 😊
Thanks for watching!!
Hey great video! Really appreciate the feedback back. I did want to point out you actually can get the adaptive cruise control in the SLT trim so you dont have to get the Denali trim. But thanks again for the video! 😊
That must be new, when I ordered mine in 2022 it wasn't an option on the SLT
@@Myksgarage probably! 👍
Good review nice to hear from a real owner.
Thanhs for the positive feedback!
Nice review. You should do another follow-up review after another 20000 miles for our benefit 👍
Absolutely!
Nice mpg - going to get one in trail boss spec, and see how efficient it is for my commute. Thanks for the info Myk.
Nice! This diesel engine is awesome
hey idk if you got it , i have a sliverado with a 3.5 inch lift 33x12.5 tires , very similar to the trail boss and i get around 22mpg highway before mods i got 33-36
Picked it up in December. Added 295/70R18 and a subtle lift on top of the TB factory lift, and S&B intake; AVG 25.8 MPGs right now. @@shanebowe7874
Thanks for the review!
Thanks for watching!
Nice car dude
👍
SLE trim is the most interesting trim the only one that can seat 9 peoples. These trucks are getting so expensive I don’t see too many feature missing in the sle.
Yeah I wish it had the power rear lift gate
sle trim is trash just get the slt if your gonna get a base model it’s not much more expensive
@@anthonyksk1861can't get the 9 seats, that's why don't won't get it.
You can get 9 seats on any trim but you can't get captains in the middle on the sle
How's that rear bench in terms of comfort? That's one thing that put me off the previous gen Suburban -- rear seat is really thin and hard.
The 3rd row bench comfort has been improved, it's quite comfortable
The seats are stiff, and after sitting for over 3 hours, my rear end suffered💀 Better wait for the model year 2025.
You have a better vehicle with basic operations of everything. Those functions won't fail due to there manual characteristics.
Yeah good point!
Do you use any kind of diesel fuel additive? Also where do you get your diesel from?
I am using a diesel fuel additive as I m parking it outside more, it is to keep the the fuel from gelling up in freezing weather. I usually just fill up at the local Chevron station.
My wife driving a 2023 SLT with Ultimate PKG. Stupid mileage with the diesel engine. Like 28.5 mpg on the freeway. Its fast and you cannot here it.
Yeah that's awesome!
Hello…. Can you all share thoughts on choosing this GMC over the CHEVY? Both cars seem so similar in everything. I know the 3 GM nameplates (+ the CADY) are on the same platform. Real question is what goes into the decision to choose GMC over the CHEVY ? Trying to make that decision for my family. Thanks 🙏🏽
The vehicles are identical gmc vs Chevy, I'd say go with the one you can get the best deal on
Thank You. Planning for a 2022 SLT Diesel with 16k miles. $67k. Is it worth it?
We have really enjoyed ours, it's been a great vehicle
Mpg? Ive been eyeing up the yukon for a few weeks, and on youtube, I've been seeing 27-33 mpg.
Yeah I get 28-30 highway
How often do you find yourself adding DEF?
About every 4-5k miles
Thank you.. great content, very informative.
Any issues with diesel fumes/smells?
No issues at all with the fumes
Does it use oil?
I haven't had to add oil between oil changes
