I have this gun for about 25 years, one in red that i sold and both a new one in black 17 years ago. It,s a great gun and every thing good , never have problems ore something.
I've got a black gloss one in mint condition & have yet to find a tutorial on how to change the seal, it's really hard to get at. That's why it's been unused for over 10 years.
I would give magicniner a shout.. they have a website . They specialise in co2 pistols and would have you up and running in a flash.. he has a searchable website.
@@sjburgon Thanks very much. I have a desert eagle (too heavy for .177) too & had a special stainless steel tool made for that one as it's deep in the handle but the Walther is very awkward. Watching your video it came to me that I could disassemble it to change (never knew it could) but will definitely check magicniner. Writing this It just occurred to me to have another one made with a 90 degree angle. Walther is the best of them imo, feels nicer & is nicely balanced in the hand. I can group 8 shots inside 1.5 - 2 inches with rapid fire at 30 feet but always fires 2 inches high & 1 inch left, every time. Thanks again.
@@sjburgon Just checked magicniner, he only has two videos up from 10 & 11 years ago, & no contact details, I think he's left & no longer active on YT. He did have UmarexBoysClub though who seem to still be active, at least until 5 months ago. Cheers.
Always free standing, the wind in my workshop is often very strong pushes the pellets all over ..lol I'm not the best shot in the world but I have fun trying...:)
Hi, I’ve just got a cp99, does it matter which pellets I use? I see so many things on YT where they are testing guns & saying what pellets to use but I have no idea which are best, any advice welcome please I’m new to air guns.
Honestly, it makes very little difference with co2 pistols. I quite like the H&N excites, which are very cheap pellets, but are quite short, so fit well in umarex 8 shot magazines.. most importantly have fun and enjoy your shooting
Unbelievable, the competition seems to be less accurate than the other one,, 5 meters,, hmmmmmm is not a good "result".. honestly,, I expected something better... 😏😏😏😏🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
Well I'm a bit wobbly so it could be pilot error,l .... The old gloss model seems to be the one to own if you can find a good one...the most important bit is that they are a lot of fun..

Bang on review mate!
Quite a bit of difference in power for the competition. I had the 4" nickel when I was 14 in '98 and just ordered the 6" nickel a few days ago.

The black looks better in 4" but the nickel looks better in 6" I think. I've also ordered the walnut grips to put straight on ,70 quid tho 🤨
THAT WAS A SLIGHTLY UNFORTUNATE SHAPE YOR SHOTS DREW ON THE CP88C, BUT FUNNY AS WELL, MADE ME CHUCKLE ANYWAY. CHEERS.
I’ve just bought an 88 I was a good night get a 99 that someone advise me the 88 this better any thoughts? Thanks for the video man it’s good
@Lt.R.Hancock: My hovercraft is full of eels.
Cp88 is a great pistol, feels weighty and is accurate.. very different from the 99 which is more about fun...both are great
Were you shooting with gun rested or free standing? If rested the accuracy at 5 yards is not particularly impressive. A very good review though.

Hello! I just wonder if it is possible to put on the grips before pushing the lever that punctures the canister?
it is on my 92fs so should be the same on this gun
I have never had such a wide spread out of my cp88 comp even though I only free stand with pistols maybe yours is bent.
I think it's more likely I'm not the best shot... One thing for sure it's a lot of fun and extremely well built...
Neat :)😁
want a double barrel pump action at an affordable price any for sale should please DM me”
