Her rap is insane. Her flow, delivery, rhythm and lyrics are amazing. She's actually the best female K-hiphop artist. I've followed her since unpretty rapstar days. She's a killer artist. KILLER!
Fiestar was a very talented group that worked very hard but unfortunately, people never got to know them and ignored all of their bops. Yezi is without a doubt one of the best female rappers in kpop. She knows how to write lyrics and doesn't rely on aave like some do. She has an amazing flow that is not able to be compared to others. She is also an amazing singer and switches her concept everytime she comes out with a new song. She is not as appreciated as she should be. No, needs to be. Ya I knew her from her days with Fiestar and Unpretty Rapstar. So when I saw her come out with My Gravity and Home, I questioned if that was really her or just someone else with the same name, haha. This is the Yezi I remember from before. But it's cool that she can do both styles so well. I know that rapping is her passion but the non rapping parts in this song are phenomenal and some of the rapping kind of takes me aback by it. The video is 11/10 too. I wish she would get more popular. But I don’t think her rapping will get her mainstream kpop unfortunately :/
i don't think rapping is just a "passion" for her since she's been known as a rapper for a long time since she was the main rapper in fiestar and did well in unpretty rapstar... but i feel like the rap certainly could've been connected with the rest of the song better!
actually, she enjoys singing just as much. she was just pushed as a rapper for most of her career @ loen, which is why her first songs after leaving loen (rain, my gravity, and home) were strongly vocal-based. you should check those out too ^^

Ya I knew her from her days with Fiestar and Unpretty Rapstar. So when I saw her come out with My Gravity and Home, I questioned if that was really her or just someone else with the same name, haha. This is the Yezi I remember from before. But it's cool that she can do both styles so well. She also appeared on an episode of King Of Masked Singer where she showcased her singing abilities for the first time, really. She was always the "sexy rapper" in Fiestar.
