I'm a little surprised they already renewed for season 2, but I'm looking forward to it. Solid last episode and all of the actors are really good. The casting for the younger/older characters is peak.
I wonder if some of the early haters of the show would reverse their critique. The show ramped up just about every episode and stuck the landing. It even made me cry in the last 30 min or so.
Displacing the thumb to escape shackles was a classic Arrow move, in one of the bigger crossovers he actually taught Barry to do the same when they got locked up in a cell as swapped versions of their characters. Classic move
Dorotea’s followers were killed after she herself was murdered so, obviously, she didn’t see what happened. But, she must have known that Sister Avila was one of her devotees. Upon seeing her, shouldn’t her first question be, “Why are *you* still alive?” Hopefully, this will be addressed next season. I liked the flashbacks because they filled in a lot of gaps, some big and some small. For example, I always wondered why a Sister as old as Avila wasn’t a Reverand Mother. Maybe it’s because, as we now know, she was part of Dorotea’s camp, originally. Valya would be let her live but never let her progress in rank in the order.
I found two issues in the last episode 1. If Mother Doratea didn't know how her murder has been portrayed as suicide after her death then how come she even get to know where Valya hid the dead bodies of her followers? 2. What's the point of Sister Theo taking the face of the princess Ynez... wasn't it just pointless to the storyline where it has shown transforming to different face takes a huge toll on her and secondly roaming around as princess doppleganger inside the palace when everyone knows about her getting arrested would definitely raise suspicion
1. After coming to know of her own "suicide" she walked to valya's office and found the files of her followers. After that she realised where they might be.. 2. Initial plan was to only take princess to safety... And keep sister theodosia in the lockup with swordmaster.. But in the spur of moment. Princess refused to go without swordmaster.. Now sister theodosia cannot alone hang in the place without swordmaster in the cell.. lol...
She does know her SMART. Specific, Measurable, Accurate, Relevant, Time-bound. I still hate her though. 1000% Psycopath Narcissist. Perfect villain antihero.
I could do without the Atreides tbh. He's the only character in the series with no character development or depth, and negligible plot relevance. It feels like he's just there as eyecandy for Inez because they needed a generic Atreides action man. Orren had more personality in the one episode he was in.
Small adjustment: the Butlerians are not necessarily House Corrino; the Butlerians are a zealot group opposed to anything that resembles thinking machines. The Butler family, from which the origins of both House Corrino AND House Harkonnen stem, are the instigators of this group of followers, particularly Serena Butler. Also, the grandfather of Javicco was not the first emperor; it was Javicco's great-grandfather, named Feykan Butler (Feykan Corrino). Additionally: After Orry Atreides was killed by Tula Harkonnen, Willem Atreides (the founder of House Atreides, not taking Vorian Atreides into consideration due to his desire to remain incognito after his long life) became Duke of House Atreides. Thus, lore-wise, Desmond Hart has no claim to the Atreides dukedom, as it is not part of the lore. Another adjustment: the Sisterhood did not necessarily infiltrate the Mentat school; sisters were deliberately sent there, just as they were deliberately sent to the Suk school as well. Also: The Voice is not clearly described in terms of its area of effect, but it can be used against multiple people at once. For example, on Corrin, when Vorian Atreides tries to ambush both Harkonnen sisters there, Valya Harkonnen tells several of Vorian's allies to drop their weapons (there are more than a hundred weapons aimed at the sisters), and multiple of them do drop their weapons. About Anirul being destroyed or not: the series takes a completely different direction here than the books: Dorothea and her splinter faction were already dealt with by Valya in her younger years, and Lila does not appear at all in the book Sisterhood of Dune (nor in Mentats of Dune or Navigators of Dune). Lastly about the end fight: Valya is described as an expert fighter on her own, even defeating Vorian in a one-on-one fight. It's a shame that they portrayed Valya's skills by only using the Voice.
The shadowy person on Arakis that modified Desmond,.. Vorian Atreides. The writers KNOW that the Dune fans want them some Vorian action at this point in the timeline!
Vorian would never do that but his siblings might. I could see that as a possibility since they name dropped Vorian so much this season but didn't pay it off with a Vorian reveal. They may even reveal next season that Vorian didn't kill Griffin.
I thought this shows season was great, it could have used two more episodes and I think we all can agree on this. I actually enjoyed this show more than the movies.
It was shortened due to the writers strike. They had a deadline so they had to condense it into 6 episodes. Probably due to cast and financial obligations so most likely season 2 will be longer.

I think it was more she hated the INFLUENCE Francesca exerted over his decisions
This first season was INCREDIBLE !!! They dare to open all the doors and to follow the chain of events and contradictory interests of the protagonists till the end 👏 the ending is perfect: it gives true satisfaction on the main plots of this 1st season and open new horizons for an exciting season 2. It will be long to wait for the next part of this amazing and rich story.
At the beginning of the episode when it’s talking to he’s telling his side piece to stay. I was getting strong tommen vibes. Something about his weak passive way of ruling. Then I gasped, “I wonder if he’s gonna kill himself like tommen.” 30 mins later, yup he’s just like tommen.”
The only bit I don't like / think works is the fact that Desmond is meant to be younger than Kieren Atredies by quite a bit, but the characters seemingly have the ages reversed
It's not true, when he was born his father was like 13/14 it seems (little boy in the scene where Tula kills all of the Atreides), so he would be like 10 years younger i imagine
I don't think that was a false memory, because Raquella in her vision basically saw what Desmond remembered and the young Sisters saw the same thing in their nightmares. It seems to me the thinking machine was not inside the worm, by the way, but in another place. What if Desmond was eaten by the worm, reborn in spice, and then taken by someone else who is behind the thinking machine? Other than that, I loved the scene with Tula and Desmond at the end of the episode. That gives me hope for a mother and son reconciliation in season 2. Desmond's arc as a special being (like Paul Atreides) and Tula's role as a mother and a Bene Gesserit would be an interesting storyline in the next season.
That scene was such a beautiful payoff for the characterd. And at least they shared some measure of reconciliation -- I was afraid he'd kill her on the spot 😅
One of the most frustrating characters in Season 1 has to be Lila, aka Mother Dorotea, and her entire faction. Their decisions are utterly baffling. Dorotea has already managed to get all her sisters-and herself-killed, yet now she’s squatting in a young girl’s mind and using her to, presumably, continue her streak of bad choices. It feels inevitable that her actions will result in even more deaths and potentially destroy the Sisterhood entirely. And let’s not forget her recklessness in leading all the Acolytes into the room with the AI. Now, thanks to her, they all know about it. Considering that many Acolytes come from the most powerful houses in the empire, it’s only a matter of time before this knowledge spreads-or worse, they’ll all need to be silenced. Either way, it’s another disaster waiting to happen, courtesy of Dorotea. Valya, by contrast, is no saint-but then again, no one in the Dune universe really is. At least Valya’s goals make sense. She’s focused on protecting the Sisterhood and strengthening it as an organization, even if her methods are harsh. Dorotea, on the other hand, seems utterly aimless. What’s her endgame? Chaos? And she doesn’t even seem to realize that’s what she’s doing. She acts as if she’s upholding some noble or traditional ideal, but what exactly is that? The previous Mother Superior ran the Sisterhood much the same way Valya does now-building alliances, installing emperors, and ensuring the organization’s survival. Dorotea’s actions feel like a regression, undermining everything the Sisterhood stands for.
Chloe Lea was the best actor here. Playing Raquela, Dorotea, and her own character Lila so well was beautiful. At times it really felt like she was overtaken by her ancestors. It wasn’t until she heard the voice as a flash back walking up the stairs I realized this really is a young girl doing all this.
If Dorotea had been the Mother Superior, the Sisterhood would have fallen apart long ago. She lacks a strong mind and is terrified of thinking machines. Someone like her, who would abandon Raquella’s vision and the Sisterhood’s purpose, could never lead effectively. She was sent to study a denomination but ended up brainwashed. A person like that could never save the Sisterhood. Valya, on the other hand, is resolute and decisive. She always finds ways to solve problems, even overcoming the virus. She’s the only one capable of saving the Sisterhood.
For sure. The BG's ruthless and calculated cunning are the only reason they last throughout the entire 10k year timeline, pulling the strings across all of the many cultures and houses of the Imperium from the shadows. This is why Valya is so foundational as a historical figure, because she set that tone. Obviously the BG's manipulations remained in the shadows or they'd have been wiped out after all this went down. I was a bit surprised that she monologed the BG's schemes in front of the two guards with the emperor in order to get arrested, but would have to assume they somehow were later silenced.
I just don't get why she'd feel justified in abandoning the vision of the person who founded the order immediately after her death. Just leave and start your own at that point. Don't get salty about being killed by the people who knew what they signed up for when you try to destroy it.
Isn’t it more likely that Valya will lose control of the Bene Gesserit home base now that the previous Reverend Mother is back, “reincarnated” through Lila? Instead, won’t she have to instead go create a rogue sect of the sisterhood on Arrakis?
@ also thought of that and how it could/would parallel whats going on in the movies… but there does have to be a return to building the kwizachz haderach
@@K-HsuehExactly. If she wanted to go back, she wouldn't have gone into hiding on Arakkis. Looks like her plan is to train Inez and uncover the enemy and then purge and remake the whole order again if she needs to.
The actors portraying the protagonists in this series are phenomenal-pay them and bring them back! They remind me of how incredible the Game of Thrones cast was. 9.5/10 for this season, but can we get 8-10 episodes next time?
This season would have really benefited from being 8 episodes. As great as it was it felt rushed at the end and they could have built things up more. Can't wait for season 2 though!
I think that the cloaked figure watching Desmond being altered, is Vorian Atreides. Who has survived so long because he himself has been modified by the machines, which has prolonged his life.
@@emergencyawesome They mentioned him a couple of times in the season, but never elaborate. Why mention him if he doesn't show up somewhere? I did not read the books, and may be way off base, but it would be a nice twist. Thank you for all your great coverage. I watch your channel all the time for any theories for all shows. Keep up the good work!
Why didnt they just cut his eye out when they had teh chance? I mean she knew it was his eye and had the knife so a quick ice cream scoop with the knife would have fixed the problem
Theres that second when Theo looks at the hurt soldier and decides to change into him instead of the princess (as she had agreed to do under Valya’s orders) you can tell she changes the plans as she thought she could just kill Desmond. Anyways, just a late change of plans…
They had to change the plan on the fly because the princess had to save her useless boyfriend and the alarm was raised. Theo stayed behind to try to kill Desmond.
Shame it couldn’t be 8 episodes, it’s one of my favorite new shows. Super curious about the person in the hood. My intuition says it’s Tleilaxu, as I think I said in the previous episodes too. That they revealed them and talked about them in more details in episodes 5&6 I think makes it a Chekov’s gun for the reveal. I agree that the thinking machines may all end up being replaced by mentats. Could also be the neo-allied worlds as Omnius and Erasmus copies did try to escape - and Gilbertus Albans should have Erasmus at the mentat school. So season 1 - Bene Gesserit and Suk doctors season 2 - Tleilaxu and Fremen, revealing mentats, season 3 - Mentats, revealing the sword masters of Ginaz - season 4 - the big battle bringing everyone together.
I think what I found deeply sad is Tula being strung along by her older sis for so many years and was so deeply uncomfortable by her older sis's ruthlessness and ambition, that she made the personal decision and painful sacrifice to give her own child away and hope that he survives. She really didn't want him to be a part of their Harkonnen family and Sisterhood mess, I think Tula feels that she herself has committed so much atrocity that there's no turning back, but her son hopefully will be spared from the crazy. And her big decision of actually using the voice on Valya is her way of standing up for herself and saying no. She's going to help her son and fix him rather than simply kill him. And the surprising thing is Valya actually lets her do this. And yes I did notice that when Valya and Tula are by themselves, they do hear these chatters and voices of their female ancestors hissing at them. And when you think about it, that is a annoying side effect that they have to live with on a daily basis: being constantly bothered and tormented by the negative remarks from their female ancestors hating on them, and they have to take a conscious effort to try to tune this out and not be affected by it.
I do wonder how that will turn out since we also know the siblings were close despite everything. And I doubt the empress is interested in keeping him as the heir.
@@vanyadollywe know Salusa Secundus gets nuked and the imperial seat gets moved. The most likely scenario is Constantine is the one who does it with the fleet to deal with his stepmother, and establishes the Corrino dynasty on the other planet.
GOT took its time to develop its characters over many episodes and seasons. The death of the characters would be much more impactful if we had more time to connect with them. Otherwise, I enjoyed the season and look forward to another.
I think Jen's character arc will be an interesting one , not following Dorotea's Butlerian beliefs but also realising that Desmond Hart and the Empress Natalya will try to destroy the Bene Gesserit that she has to side with the breeding program in order for them to survive and to get Lila back
Loved the series, slow burn but the ending is just splendid! But if there is something I really care more in the dune live universe is more presence of the spacing guild and that ship travel was the cherry! And I want more travel and guild scenes!
As a fan of Dune I thoroughly enjoyed this series and pleased with what they’ve done to expand the Dune legacy. It was exciting to see Tula use the voice on Valya to save Desmond. The House using him could be Ix? Looking forward to season 2.
Spoiler: in the books, Mentats are not powerful enough to keep track of the breeding records, no matter how many you have. They never named the AI that kept track in the books and it was never destroyed like it was in the show but computers were still being used thousands of years later by the benejezzeret
I feel like episode 6 was just a really long trailer for season 2. Only having 6 episodes really hurt the show in my eyes. I hope season 2 gets more episodes because I want to like the show, but so far it hasn’t captured me. I was bored for a lot of it, and the few cool moments weren’t enough to overcome that. I found myself this week thankful that Sunday was the last episode. If I wasn’t a dune fanatic I probably would have checked out after the 3rd episode. Hoping for more episodes and a more stream lined plot next season.
They also renewed the show for season 2 last week before the finale aired. So they'll probably talk more about that later next year. They won't be filming for a little while.
I hate the slow pace critique . It is a prequel . The world mapping has to be built when we already know the future. Just enjoy how the shadow sisters of are the reason DUNE exist.
Really loving the young harkkonens I think it was the best part of the series(better than the new acolytes), I wish they would give them more time next season
Keen to see more of the spacing guild and maybe even the CHOAM seeing as they haven't been a big focus in the recent Dune movies. Still remember that floating worm thing David Lynch did for the guild navigators, super weird and hilarious
I'm not the first to say this. Someone else pointed out that Anirul (the Sisterhood's thinking machine) is an anagram for Irulan (the daughter of Shaddam Corrino IV), and eventual wife of Paul Atreides.
I would've thought that the mentat sister should've resisted the fear mind-killer virus longer relying on her mentat training or sapho juice to stave it off, guess it was a skill issue.
I wish they hadn't used Arrakis for the Desmond Hart arc. The story itself had no need of prophetic worms or Arrakis, and they missed a chance to create something new, instead of rehashing the same houses and settings.
The series is fine. Its like a lesser version of Game of Thrones/House of the Dragon. Its just not something Im gonna go tell everyone about. But I will watch Season 2
There is a problem with the Lila/ Dorothea possession remembering her murder. The genetic memory is only accessible to the point of birth or ejection from their ancestor's body. So the Dorothea entity possessing Lila could only ever remember up until the point where she gave birth to her daughter. Therefore she could never possibly access how she was murdered. That was a pretty crazy flaw. Otherwise that was a fantastic episode.
They killed off Francesca after only two episodes? I have mixed feelings about the finale. I'm hoping it was not a Gom Jabbar but another type of poison that was meant to trick. We need more Francesca.

Dorotea’s followers were killed after she herself was murdered so, obviously, she didn’t see what happened. But, she must have known that Sister Avila was one of her devotees. Upon seeing her, shouldn’t her first question be, “Why are *you* still alive?”
Hopefully, this will be addressed next season.
I found two issues in the last episode
Now sister theodosia cannot alone hang in the place without swordmaster in the cell.. lol...
@sohamkshirsagar4794 well that's an acceptable explanation
Valya is badass, both the actors playing Valya were amazing !
Emily Watson is incredible as the Mother Superior
Nah, she doesn't look psychopathic AT ALL!
I literally just finished this at 430 am and Charlie got a video out 9.44 am..That boy swift on his feet
Thanks! I tried to finish my finale video quickly! There was a lot to wrap up!
He got scooped by Quinn's Ideas though 😊
I watched it yesterday and expected him to have it out last night
Most of these creators get the episodes early so they can release their videos shortly after. Not all but a lot.
Valya is born to be a leader
She does know her SMART. Specific, Measurable, Accurate, Relevant, Time-bound. I still hate her though. 1000% Psycopath Narcissist. Perfect villain antihero.
I’m so happy they got renewed for season 2 and beyond. As well as not killing of Desmond or the Atreides swordsman
But Aragorn still had the claim, tho 🫣
The shadowy person on Arakis that modified Desmond,.. Vorian Atreides.
The writers KNOW that the Dune fans want them some Vorian action at this point in the timeline!
Nice theory!
They show changed a lot during development.
This bs of only 6 episodes for a season needs to stop. Just when I think now it's getting started it's already over.
6 episodes per season, if written properly can have alot to offer, I still think season 1 of walking dead is the best and that's 6 episodes
It was shortened due to the writers strike. They had a deadline so they had to condense it into 6 episodes. Probably due to cast and financial obligations so most likely season 2 will be longer.
I actually think that it wasn’t Natalya, but rather theodosia that killed Francesca. Hear me out: last we actually see of theodosia, she is wearing Nez’s face. But we don’t see her actually go up into the suspencer. We all assume theodosia is the guard who stabs Hart, but she (or Valya) could have used the voice on that guard to make him stab Hart. So when theodosia is Nez, and Valya and co leave, I think theodosia actually swapped to Natalya’s face and left.
I think, especially after the convo Valya had with Francesca, that Valya was aware Francesca couldn’t go through with killing Javico. So theodosia (as Natalya) was her contingency.
Could be wayyyyy of base, but I like theorizing!
Edit: I also don’t feel like Natalya cared that Javico loved Francesca. I think it was more she hated the INFLUENCE Francesca exerted over his decisions
didn't you see the guards face changing?
@ dang it you are so right 😭
This first season was INCREDIBLE !!!
😂😂😂😂
The only bit I don't like / think works is the fact that Desmond is meant to be younger than Kieren Atredies by quite a bit, but the characters seemingly have the ages reversed
It's not true, when he was born his father was like 13/14 it seems (little boy in the scene where Tula kills all of the Atreides), so he would be like 10 years younger i imagine
That little kid is Kieren's father, not kerien himself
Desmond could be a Ghola and the worm memory was how the original died.
That was my favorite scene from this episode, it was so profoundly emotional
That scene was such a beautiful payoff for the characterd. And at least they shared some measure of reconciliation -- I was afraid he'd kill her on the spot 😅
I firmly believe " the hidden hand" is bene Tleilaxu.
Nice theory! I think we'll learn more about them in future seasons!
Ixians haven’t been shown. They could be much more technological than we think.
Tleilaxu have the ability to implant memories, I think.
I actually think the hidden hand might be House Ordos, it's very fitting
The Bene Tieilaxu is too predictable
It is Omnius
Dorotea sucks, but I hope they can save Lila. Or at least get grandma to possess her instead.
Dorotea seems like she wants the Sisterhood run like a nunnery. Reading scripture and gaining a following of religious followers.
She was brilliant
@ so calm and collected I wish we seen more of her
She's an annoying brat as fck.
I like Valya Palpatine.
man what a finale i loved it thought they stuck the landing solid season
If Dorotea had been the Mother Superior, the Sisterhood would have fallen apart long ago. She lacks a strong mind and is terrified of thinking machines. Someone like her, who would abandon Raquella’s vision and the Sisterhood’s purpose, could never lead effectively. She was sent to study a denomination but ended up brainwashed. A person like that could never save the Sisterhood.
Valya, on the other hand, is resolute and decisive. She always finds ways to solve problems, even overcoming the virus. She’s the only one capable of saving the Sisterhood.
I agree 1000%! Valya is my favorite character 😊
She did not overcome it. Tula helped her through it
@midsizesedan7620 Which resulted her in overcoming it.
I just don't get why she'd feel justified in abandoning the vision of the person who founded the order immediately after her death. Just leave and start your own at that point. Don't get salty about being killed by the people who knew what they signed up for when you try to destroy it.
When Valya calls all truthsayers back to the Bene planet, those acolytes will be destroyed.
Honestly cant wait for it…
Isn’t it more likely that Valya will lose control of the Bene Gesserit home base now that the previous Reverend Mother is back, “reincarnated” through Lila? Instead, won’t she have to instead go create a rogue sect of the sisterhood on Arrakis?
@ also thought of that and how it could/would parallel whats going on in the movies… but there does have to be a return to building the kwizachz haderach
@@K-HsuehExactly. If she wanted to go back, she wouldn't have gone into hiding on Arakkis. Looks like her plan is to train Inez and uncover the enemy and then purge and remake the whole order again if she needs to.
Anirul’s data was exported to an XML file….
lol
I wonder if the machine WAS lost and the Sisterhood took another 10k years to recover the lost lines and make their Kwisatz Haderach.
The dislocation of thumbs or shoulders to escape is a long time magicians trick..Houdini was known to do that.
I feel like many things were rushed.
Best part of the show was Desmond.
Nice theory!
Ay dios, now we have to wait 2-3 years. Thank you for the ride and thank you for the explanations
Happy Holidays Charlie
Happy Holidays! Lots more stuff coming this week!
The sad thing is we gonna have to wait 2-3 years for another 6 Episodes 😩 I hate what streaming has done to good shows/movies
Why didnt they just cut his eye out when they had teh chance? I mean she knew it was his eye and had the knife so a quick ice cream scoop with the knife would have fixed the problem
Tula didn't want to
Why did the face dancer turn into the princess? Seemed pointless because she shifted again
That confused me too. I wonder if some footage was cut showing the reason why Theo went from being the princess to being a palace guard.
Theres that second when Theo looks at the hurt soldier and decides to change into him instead of the princess (as she had agreed to do under Valya’s orders) you can tell she changes the plans as she thought she could just kill Desmond. Anyways, just a late change of plans…
Exactly. Why even remain at the jail? The face dancer could have been more useful for the escape.
Can’t wait for season two
Me too
I think part of the voices Valya heard are her own insecurities and fears brought up my coming back to her family after all these years.
Glad it got renewed,I like the show and the acting.Idc if it’s not a lot of action,I like the storylines.
Mark Strong playing Dumbledore would be hilarious, since he played Merlin in The Kingsman series.
I really don't understand the hate. This show has been great for me. I really, really enjoyed it!
I look forward to Constantine being a recurring threat on Arrakis for our trio.
I think Jen's character arc will be an interesting one , not following Dorotea's Butlerian beliefs but also realising that Desmond Hart and the Empress Natalya will try to destroy the Bene Gesserit that she has to side with the breeding program in order for them to survive and to get Lila back
I really enjoyed this Season because of the lack of Arrakis scenes. Hopefully they keep that going in S2. Save the sand for the movies 💯
Loved the series, slow burn but the ending is just splendid! But if there is something I really care more in the dune live universe is more presence of the spacing guild and that ship travel was the cherry! And I want more travel and guild scenes!
Man, you pump these out fast!! Thanks Charlie
Thanks! I tried to finish my Finale video as fast as possible! My What If Episode 2 video will post later today!
@emergencyawesome yes!!!! Looking forward to it as always
So sad it has ended 😢 EP 6 had everything we were waiting for. Hoping they do Season 2 very soon.
I really enjoyed your videos on season one. I look forward to your videos on season 2.
Happy Holidays everyone.
Happy Holidays!
I was soo sure the eyes were Lato II's 😭😭
As a fan of Dune I thoroughly enjoyed this series and pleased with what they’ve done to expand the Dune legacy. It was exciting to see Tula use the voice on Valya to save Desmond. The House using him could be Ix? Looking forward to season 2.
Oh the Oscar Tully of it all!
This ep 10/10 I'm afraid she'll order Valia to stab herself bro the sister hood are the villains.
I can’t wait until the series 2 you get us on our toes and then you make us wait
hbo give us the best gift ever for this year
They also renewed the show for season 2 last week before the finale aired. So they'll probably talk more about that later next year. They won't be filming for a little while.
Can’t blame the emperor. I’d wanna stay home w Francesca too
Thanks.
Happy Holidays Charlie. 🎄 🎅
No problem! Happy Holidays!
I hate the slow pace critique . It is a prequel . The world mapping has to be built when we already know the future. Just enjoy how the shadow sisters of are the reason DUNE exist.
Thanks for making these Charlie. Have a great holiday.
Glad you like them!
Really loving the young harkkonens I think it was the best part of the series(better than the new acolytes), I wish they would give them more time next season
“These are your first steps” Obi Wan Voice
I knew that Queen Calanthe would become somewhat of a villain.
Hey man it’s been fun seeing theses videos every week!!! Can’t wait till season 2 to experience the videos again
WHAT A SHOW! WHAT A SHOW! WHAT A SHOW!
Was it me or were there some really harsh and sloppy cuts in scene transitions?
It’s you
The series is fine. Its like a lesser version of Game of Thrones/House of the Dragon. Its just not something Im gonna go tell everyone about. But I will watch Season 2
Dune went full Marvel Comics with the techno-organic virus, similar to Mr. Sinister infecting Nathan Summers/Cable.
Midichlorians
I don’t think it’s the machines doing this , but Human much like the sisterhood using illegal tech .
You’d think one of the Bene Gesserit would be able to fight the poison lol
Now lets hope for another 100 seasons leading all the way up to 10000 years later.
Can’t wait to go back to arrakis next season
Memo to Leslye Headland: *THAT'S* how you do a show about acolytes. That's why Dune: Prophesy gets a second season and yours does not.
I swear Charlie is slowly turning his subs into criminals with all that teaching. 😂😂😂
