I've been using the SP Connect system for a few years on my bikes. I find it a better, sleeker system than the Quadlock system. Easier to mount too. I currently have Bar clamp mount on my '23 Tiger 1200 Rally pro and works perfect. They make great stuff.
@@manybikes You'll love the system, Kyle. The only thing Quadlock has over this system is the ability to easily attach your phone portrait or landscape. With Quadlock, it's obviously super easy. With SP, you have to loosen the head and rotate whichever direction you want. Not super difficult, but annoying nonetheless. Good luck!
@@manybikes That's correct. I transitioned to the SPC+ mounts a while ago. While you can set it in either direction, you still have to loosen it and turn the head the direction you want...unlike the Quadlock where you can mount however you want without head adjustment. The SP system is still much better than Quad, IMO.
@@manybikes I cant. There is no agent in my country any more. I have about 7 mounts in my vehicle's. Will probably change over to quadlock as they are still sold here.
Did you try yourself in their booth to connect/disconnect the phone? Is it easier to lock-in than QuadLock or more or less the same? Asking this, as even after a year I've still issues to mount/lock-in fast my phone using QuadLock.
I picked up a case and a mount for each of the 4 bikes... will test daily and will review once the info is gathered. They are right here in my town of San Clemente!
@@manybikes oh my. I had a ram phone mount and I had the phone jump out of the cradle when the bike hit a bump in the road. Luckily I caught the phone in mid air. A buddy of mine recommended the quad lock and I have been happy with it ever since. SP is probably just as good or for some better. Whatever works right? Take care.

Well, they all have had to make Anti-Vibe since all the iPhones were breaking! RAM never had a problem as they were all rubber ball mounted. But these new companies with hard mount clamps, that was another story! RokForm destroyed three of my cameras before their anti-vibe was released. ;) Live and you learn.
I’ve ruined a 8 an X and another 8… had to buy used as I couldn’t afford to replace the X I was still paying for… horrible state of affairs. I’ve got a 13 Pro at the moment. I hear it’s stronger?
I’ve killed 2 iPhones now, to me it looks like a slightly different quad lock vibration dampening mount system. That system Still killed my phone camera. Note: these type of mounts will work great for older smartphones with single lens cameras but with the newer phones (especially iPhone) that use multiple lenses and have actual built in image stabilization, the slightest bit of constant vibration can kill the camera. I can’t recommend any moto handlebar mount for modern smartphone devices. Buy a Motorcycle GPS folks!
@@manybikes it’s not the mounts fault, all these type of mounts are amazing! unfortunately it’s just the new phones, they just can’t take that type of constant vibration, both of mine went just from highway cruising on a v85tt. The gyroscope and image stabilization go wacky pretty easily, the camera systems are just not robust. That being said ! These mounts are great for GoPro’s or action cameras!
LOVE"EM / Early Adapter / HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!
Totally! I thought the kit felt "light" in the beginning. But it has performed well for over a year now. Love it!!!

Seems a little easier to put on than quad lock...but very similar...thanks for sharing...

@@lifesjourneyat50 so AWESOME!
Had the original for a few years, works well but my case has worn out and it wobbles. Looks like I cant get a new one.
Get a new case and ask for the adapter that will update your mount. I think they give them away as a coutousy.

This looks a lot sleeker than the quad lock.
Will see... just picked them up to test and review.
Good stuff, I recently switched over from quad lock to all SP stuff and love it so far. 😎👍🏼👍🏼

Similar to the Quad lock. Which is what I have.
Similar yes... I need to compare them side by side...
$140 to hold my phone and stop vibrations? Why is it this difficult to find a well priced phone mount?
We will see... But $140 to protect a $1k investment that most pay on for 3 years. Worth it...
wondering if anybody has tested this out on a iPhone have been using quad lock on my T 700. Needless to say camera doesn’t work anymore.
I’ve got an iPhone 13 Max and will w testing it on all three bikes. The 390 is the worst for vibration… that will be the test!
I'll stick to my quadlock stuff. SP looks like a knock off/copy of Quadlock but hey what do I know.
It’s similar for sure…. But which one is better? F250 vs K2500 vs Ram 2500 … it doesn’t matter who did it first - which one is BEST
@@manybikes Quadlock is best because I own it already lol😂

This is Still susceptible to vibrations

@@domenik8339 Ha! Ha! I’m “a” man… that is true. Pretty mediocre most of the time. ;)

What is the point of making a motorcycle mount for a phone without anti vibration built in....all bikes vibrate to some extent....
Cheers Kev
