Imagine if you woke up and there was no such thing as Rock and Roll and magically you hear this the next day.......Welcome to the Evolution of Rock and Roll !!
Johnny Johnson on piano. Johnny B. Goode!
He was the original inspiration for the song. Turned into a story about Chuck.
The riff that inspired many a young boy to pick up the guitar (me included.) The early raw recording style only adds to the songs brilliance.
I saw Chuck Berry in 83. If you were a music promoter and hired chuck Berry for a show you had to get him a backing band ready to go. Chuck would then simplify show up with his guitar in hand.
THIS is Rock 'n Roll!! Real rhythm and blues. Just need to see that Duck Walk.😸
Thank you for your honest reactions. I don't expect anything else from the greatest reactors on RUclips. My parents used to play it all the time. I live in the area from where Chuck Berry lives. I met him totally by accident one day at a boutique. Very nice man. He was shopping for a gift for his wife.
The Father of Rock and Roll and little was said of his passing. What a shame. Berry did more to influence the Stones, THe Who, Beatles, KInks, and all others than any other artist.
Rock n Roll will never die
Marty McFly of the first "Back to the Future" movie - "I guess you guys aren't ready for that, yet. But your kids are gonna love it..." He performs this on guitar at the dance...
Please, enough of the constant references to Marty McFly whenever this song is mentioned. Do you think you are being clever? We all know. It has become a tired old cliche. Give it a rest...
Awesome Reaction guys! Another song that has a insane piano part is Great Balls of Fire by Jerry Lee Lewis!🎸🎸🎸😎
Please do Tears of A Clown - Smokey Robinson and the Miracles. This is a classic!🙏🏾
My favourite Chuck Berry is still 'Nadine' though
This song and TUTTI FRUTTI by LITTLE RICHARD are the 2 first Rock and Roll songs !
I wonder if you've both seen Back to the Future?. Not only does it feature this song but a clever time-travel joke involving it too.
You cannot be serious! We don't need these constant references to Back to the Future. We've all heard of this connection many times. Did you think you were being original? Please...
@@lorddaver5729 Yes, I'm serious. Keep your hair on their, no need to get sooo upset!!. It's probably now more famous for the movie connection.
Amazing how much better this song sounds compared to the shit on the radio today and it's over 60 years old. It still sounds fresh.
Classic! Why dont they make records like this anymore? We need to get back to REAL music again!
Jonnie Johnson on piano.
Promised Land my favourite CB song.
Such a great song and influence on the rock and roll generation from the 1950's. He was a great player and even Jimi Hendrix played the song at the 1967 Monterey Pop Festival...please review Jimi's live version and enjoy...it's very good (imop).
ya should listen to Chuck Berry's 7 minute Reeling and Rocking don on his English tour. I call it Chuck Berry unleashed
Actually, Hank Williams’ Move It On Over is considered to be the first “rock n roll” song.
You two are so stinkin cute!
👍👍👍👍👍
Best Rock & Roll song ever. From the 50s.
