Bo Rai Cho is such a well done character that adds just what the MK cast was missing. I'm glad he's back as a playable character, but even before that I was glad he was still important to the story.

I know he's still a bit of a goof but I like this version of Bo Rai Cho he actually feels like a grand master and not some joke character that he once was, still gonna fart on people for some moves but some of the quotes here make him seem wise and badass.

I never cared much about Bo Rai Cho as a character. Didn't like him, but didn't hate him either.
Now, I really like him. Neatherrealm did a great job redesigning him for MKX, from his design (though it isn't really anything that special), to (and especially) his personality.

There is a side mission in nk deception where he mentions why he cant fight in the nk tournament as it would count for outworlds favor. This actually leads to a minor plothole for shang tsung fought for outwoelds behald despite being an earthrealmer. This may be explained by shao kahns ownage of shang tsungs soul so there seems to be possible ways for one to paeticipate after all
