- In this video, I show the features present and give my initial opinion on the 2021 Ram 2500 6.4L Hemi Tradesman 4x4 Crew Cab truck that I recently purchased.
I show some of the features of the Tradesman and give my initial opinion and review of the pickup truck after about 500 miles. I know the 2022 Ram 2500s are starting to be delivered in small quantities. It may mean that there will be some 2021s for sale soon.
The truck has some optional features present on the Tradesman trim called the Customer Preferred Package. It has a few extra cool featurers added in.
I show the 0-60 acceleration time and a rolling acceleration. The 8 speed transmission shifts fast and smooth.
I was cross shopping with the Ford F250 and Chevy 2500 (less interested) but the Rams were better priced for better features.
I have this exact same truck only with the level 2 pkg. We love it! it tows great no problems and seems to be well engineered and safe. Happy motoring.
I have a 2021 tradesman 2500 and I’m loving it. The dampener for the tailgate is easy to add, got mine on eBay for $40 great truck so far, this year I have 1500 miles of towing our 7500 lbs camper, truck did great
Did you happen to ever have a Nissan Titan?
Hello What did you end up paying for the truck ?
How is the truck Year later ?
Any complaints issues ?
Have you done any upgrades?
Thank you
I test drove a 6.4 yesterday. It’s not for me. 7.3 Godzilla feels so much better.
Great video, Thanks! I just started a job and ordered the 2021 2500 tradesmans crew 8ft bed. just like this for my service vehicle. I am hoping the delay isnt too long, maybe enterprise fleet vehicles get faster shipment.
!!! I cant wait to start driving it!!
WOW! A very nice rig for sure.
Nice truck, does it drive good?
Yessir. Drives very nice.
There one 2020 ram 2500 going for 50k, tradesman, blue color, has 9 k miles only and it has all the things as like this truck but has upgraded radio, front and rear sway bar disconnect option and aftermarket wheels on it, you think that’s a good start ?
That’s not too bad for the market right now. I paid less for my Tradesman but I don’t have the upgraded radio. I haven’t looked at what is for sale recently though.
What is the towing capacity on this 6.4 hemi?
I believe it’s about 14,380
Is it Diesel or gas
Gas. 6.4L Hemi
@@arch417powersports aww sweet
Does yours have a ticking noise? Have you noticed idling with the gears?
These aren't true hd trucks with those suspension systems. Those 6.4 hemi's are ticking and slapping turds as well. I don't know about ford 7.3 or chevy 6.6 gasser because I have a 2013 6.0 vortex 2500hd. But ford and chevy have real hd frames and suspensions for a fact.
Those dodge trucks are basically chargers with a pickup bed attached to it. Chevy barely started making a proper hd frame in 2011-2012. Ford has always made true hd suspension since the late 80s in their pickups.
Honesty it’s not hard to find trucks right now salesman just lie and say that.I purchase my vehicles in CarMax defeats the salesman BS .
Finding them for a reasonable price 😅
