Lmfao at Bedard saying he doesn’t what team he’s going to 😂. He’s knows he’s going to Chicago. It’s written in stone.
Going to be great to watch him develop and thrive over the next decade or more, its a great time to be a hockey fan right now with all the talent in and coming into the league!
Bedard is so comfortable on camera, its a breath of fresh air tbh.
Props to his parents. Taught him to be humble, realistic and honest.
Seeing him live with the Pats was special man. I will never forget a goal where he was flying mid air from a trip across the crease and chopped a bouncing puck (MIS AIR IN SUPERMAN FORM) into the top shelf
The kid is special
In the recent past, there were doubts whether Nate MacKinnon (Colorado was milling over choosing Denver boy Seth Jones who eventually dropped to No. 4 Nashville), Auston Matthews (Leafs were debating whether to choose Patrik Laine) and Shane Wright (who dropped to No. 4 Seattle while Montreal grabbed Slafkovsky instead) would be chosen No. 1 overall. It’s safe to predict Chicago will select Connor Bedard unless the Ducks shock the world by trading up by giving the Blackhawks Fantelli!
no.
I hope he can have a Kovalchuk type of rookie season. And hopefully his all around 200 ft game develops as time goes on
He'll be better than Kovalchuk, don't you worry
3:23 the same thing happened to me at a ranger game when i was like 8, my mom said the same thing
I bet you’re gonna be a great Chicago player
you had to remind me sharks were so close 2011 too man. What a way to start my day.
The Blackhawks came back from 0-3 against the Canucks that season, tied up Game 7 with under 2 minutes left in the 3rd, but couldn't win it in OT.

Is that the legendary golf sandbagger Whit I spotted at 7:58. So the stories of him playing hockey are actually real. PS: I'm officially getting into watching the NHL again and I'm on the Blackhawks hypetrain. Bedard, I believe in you please bless my NHL next year subscription with value
He looks so much more comfortable in this interview.
Player of his caliber may very well get media training.
as someone whos done boxing for many years I assumed pivoting would be the norm for shooting
but i dont know anything about hockey. just found it interesting for that to considered unique way of shooting
I got my official game pucks on display every year. I don’t have every team but I got my fav top teams. This year Toronto (as always) and for the wild card the Chicago blackhawks. The two interesting teams I am going to watch this year mainly. Don’t worry I’ll be staying up late to watch some Vegas and kings still. Share the love!
Colby is a beauty
He has amazing puck control!! 😮😮 I literally cannot wait for October 10! 😊😊
This kid has a wicked shot and that will be his bread and butter , he moves well in the zone and is a very good skater. He shoots his shot when other players would wait for a better opportunity to let it go . His shot reminds me of cole caufields . Shoots at angles that shouldn’t go in and with the toe-drag it’s very deceptive to goalies and shot -blockers. This is going to be exciting 👍
holy cow I feel old! this guy was born when Sid was drafted????
Bedard = Humility
Lets wait and see the guy playing in the NHL. Its a different game there and we don't know how if he'd be able to handle it really well.
New Kane. New Toews. New Keith. Cup
He will leave in 8 years
Kind of interesting he compares himself to kaprizov i think they are a lil different
kinda funny with him going to the hawks and him being a canucks fan
Oh I’m sure that happens constantly. It’s not like these kids don’t grow up passionate hockey fans and it’s fairly unlikely you get drafted by your favorite team.
2011 is when I got into and out of hockey wish I had stayed in it
Playing wise?
@@Sgt.Hairclub i played a little bit of floor hockey my parents never took me to the rink in town and I fell out of playing it and following it at the same time because my adhd just took me elsewhere
Listen at 3:43. Army starts to call Tanev a plug and catches himself.
He'd better not
Welcome To The Chicago Blackhawks
Shoulda been Anaheim smh. That kid knew what's up
Ugh….. wish Blue Jackets had the first so we could pair him with Kent
Did he comment about being last and plus minus among all rookies, and among his team. He is not rookie of the year caliber. He is one way and one way only. He's all about himself another one of the new era pretty boy hockey players. I hope rempe takes care of him
Chicago Blackhawks Pick Connor Bedard
Hearing bedard saying Chris Tanev for best Canuck was actually awesome! Tanev’s been that way forever. His favourite stat is the only stat that should matter… W’s
Bright future!
98
Slamming the stick after not scoring lol. Next mcdavid incoming. No Stanley cups lots of points, there’s some good players in the nhl that can score and have the size and physicality. Stone, Mackinnon, Tkachuk will make this guys life hard to name a few.
Lmfao what 😂
@@dmacg5520Another person who mistakenly thinks individual players can will their teams to cups. Even Gretzky couldn't do it
W Canucks
102 points? Maybe not, but I think he'll get 40 goals and about 85-90 points. If he had more talent with him on Chicago he could probably get more.
Toeeee drag release
“What’s your weaknesses?” “Shot blocking”
Ovi: Boutta end this man’s whole career
Imagine not knowing he ever existed 😢
Had to bite his lip when asked what team he ACTUALLY wants..
Vancou-
What's the deal with the kids helmet? I don't get it, helmet, visor and neither one of em doing a damn thing for you
There's a little Bure in there the way they come out of a circle
Switchin feet stayin low nice knees
I'd imagine ripped sets of wheels and sticks like crazy
Good luck 98 finding your way
I see some Atlanta Kovalchuk in his shot
@@JHockeyFanHonestly his wrist shot is even better which is crazy considering the size difference. Doesn't have the monster slapshot/one timer although I wouldn't put it past him to develop one. He would probably have to change the flex on his stick because he uses a really low flex number.
He's touching the stick that Connor touched 🥲
It's like a magic wand. 🪄
That's so weird because the pool I grew up going to was called Northshore pool.
toe drag realise!
He play for chigo kids
He needs an enforcer riding shotgun
Who Connor Bedard reminds me of? In the RUclips search bar type in the name Guy Lafleur
17 Mil cap hit, give me Leo
you guys don’t even have a chance at leo 😂😂😂😂
@@mitchellkramer229whos leo
@@alexandrapreston7283 Leo Carlsson (top ranked European player).
Hard 4 Bedard!
See if he can handle the nhl
I really hope he gets to play for the canucks in a few years
Army is a beauty
I wonder will this kid be a goal scorer like Ovechkin or Stamkos or MacKinnon or Matthews or Daniel Sedin? Or will he be a playmaker like McDavid or Crosby or Jumbo Joe or Henrik Sedin?
He’s such a big nucks fan, what could have been, SMH.
Give it a few years, dude is way to big of a homer to not want to put on that sweater
@@dr.slappingrocks7502 Hope so man
I bet Connor wishes to play for his home town team as shown in his comment about living at home if he gets to play for Canucks. Off course Bettman fixed it to ensure the sexual harassment friendly team gets him! I pray Connor’s agent make sure they made clear on how they should protect Connor from predators.
Lmfao
colby is so painful to watch and listen to
Colby has done more in the NHL than any of those guys let the man play.
Till he gets slammed into the boards by nhl level forechecking.
Yeah I agree, he's definitely going to have to put on some pounds.
Funny joke
that 12 y/o is gross too
Generational shooter? Yes. Overall player.. eye test says no.
guess you're blind
You would be a great referee
No personality
He is a bust.
Hes gonna flop.. they putting too much pressure on him
He's nothing close EVER to McDavid ...way too small and too slow!
I just came to say🖕
But, can McDavid play defense?
McDavid. Is'nt close to Orr was. And was'nt. Big..
