You literally just explained convolution better in 30 minutes than I learned in the entire semester of Signals and Systems during undergraduate studies.
Good stuff indeed. But I would have put the animation before the calculation, directly after the definition of convolution. It would have made the calculation much easier to understand.
After watching your lectures of digital and now till now of signals and systems...I can say only one thing that not even MIT course can offer such clear and beautiful explanation that too in so less amount of time...You talk "no faaltu ki baat" which almost all coaching centers do... Thanks Neso Academy 💙
1st time I understood what is convolution by this lecture .... Sachin Tendulkar is All time greatest now neso academy is all time greatest.... thank you
That animation at the end really does a perfect job of tying it all together and illustrating the concept of overlap and the result it produces when you integrate the area of overlap.
I've never added this number of a YT channel's videos to my list EVER. I'm totally serious when I say words can't express my gratitude to you for almost every single video of yours I watch
Thank you very much! I'd greatly appreciate it if you could add lectures for Control Systems, Principles of Communication Systems, and Linear Integrated Circuits.
That was absolutely incredible!!! Amazing explanation as always and loved the animation at the end. Thank you for making all these perfect, step-by-step videos, they make college subjects so understandable.

it would be t-1 and t itself lets us consider t>0 => shifting the graph of h(-T) towards the right (delaying the signal) hence the left extreme must be greater than -1 by t units and right extreme from 0 by t units in the positive side . hence left extreme must be -1 + t since it must be greater than -1 just in case if you take -1-t the it would be less than -1 actually (advancing the signal) which in turn is wrong same goes for case when t
Salute to Neso academy for this much grt explanation, and there free of cost teaching ,helping a lot student's to overcome there difficulty in this subject
Thank you, my friend, if you were an American you will be costing me a small fortune. I am very thankful to you as you can explain far better than my super high qualified doctors at the University of Derby, which they can not explain shit to anyone, unfortunately.
that animation was really helpfull inorder to understand physical meaning.please include animation like this important concepts.u are the best teacher..
@nesoacademy Your videos are incredibly informative, making complex concepts easy to understand. I appreciate your clear explanation of convolution with continuous functions. Could you consider covering convolution with discrete functions in a future video? Your teaching style is invaluable, and I look forward to more insightful content.

my professor would improve a lot if he watched these videos him

Convolution has convoluted my mind. Yipee 🙂
Agreed
The animation at the end just nailed the lecture. Such a realistic approach to the concepts 👏
hey can u provide the matlab code for the animation at the end

thank u sir...u really provide deep concept to us....thanks for your support
you explained in 30 minutes what my professor couldn't in two 3-hour lectures. Thank you so much, you are helping so many people!!
Your drawings are so satisfying to watch thanks:D
One of the few Indian youtube channels that doesn't spew nonsense. Very intuitive and layman approach to convolution, bravo.
👏👏👏👏👏
Brilliant explanation..
I wish if there was ur video in 2004 when i was struggling in signals & system course..
Hats off
No one can give a simpler and clearer explanation for convolution than this video....Thank you sir !!
You went above and beyond. Super clear explanation, helps me visualize the convolution of signal. Thank you.
One of the best explanation I have ever come across
I've never added this number of a YT channel's videos to my list EVER.

thank god finally someone shows me how convolution works graphically. Other videos are justing doing integration and not helpful at all!
Sir, this is the best explanation of the concept I've heard so far. It's amazing
thank you so much i'm preparing for the exam and this Helped me a lot ! From Tunisia
Finally, a nice and clear explanation about the topic !
Thank you for the great videos !!
I remember when you taught me digital logic, and here you are once again
Same here
Also feel
i was studying this only and here u uploaded it....
Very nice explanation. Finally I understood the integral form of convolution. Thank you
Thank you very much! I'd greatly appreciate it if you could add lectures for Control Systems, Principles of Communication Systems, and Linear Integrated Circuits.
Sir Are you professor in any college or student because your voice seems like college student and your knowledge is like beyond the scope of level
Man you are the best. Wish you were my teacher in every subject.
Thank you so much. I have been struggling with this topic all semester and now it is clear.
most helpful Convolution lecture ever. Thank you sir, Greetings From Turkey
Excellent and professional teaching. You are a good teacher

You did justice to the Explanation of convolution, so much clarity in your teaching Prof!
useful era of information. thank you
properly understood. examples seemed so hard. thank you boss-man
Convolution is an integral that gives us the amount of overlap between 2 signals when one signal is shifting toward the other signal
your lectures are satisfying. m addicted to watch for clarity.
You are beautifull iam addicted to u
You're an absolute life saver - thanks so so much for your explanation!

I cannot find these lectures even in top engineering colleges
At 11:45 the horizontal coordinates on the plot of the time-shifted h should be -t-1 and -t, respectively. Remember "look forward shift left".
it would be t-1 and t itself
lets us consider t>0 => shifting the graph of h(-T) towards the right (delaying the signal) hence the left extreme must be greater than -1 by t units and right extreme from 0 by t units in the positive side . hence left extreme must be -1 + t since it must be greater than -1 just in case if you take -1-t the it would be less than -1 actually (advancing the signal) which in turn is wrong

The best explanation of convolution hands down 💯
Thank you so much, I actually understand now how to do the convolution integral because of you.
This man is a computer. It's a compliment. Dat handwriting
ur a great lecturer with huge patience ....hats off to u GURUji
Such a nice way of teaching. Its too good

For reducing hours of efforts.
Thankyou sir. My doubts are cleared. Thanks

Why are we shifting impulse response between the input signal ranges and not exactly when the signal changes values?
Like why shift h (t) for 1 < t
