That's good, but unfortunately, you have to pay for it and it's not cheap. 12 Euros an hour is a lot for something done automatically. I wouldn't mind not being able to have the video editor in browser for example, I just need a file with the subtitles and times stamps so I can correct on a noteblock and import to Davinci You're making your product better than it needed to be and that's obviously great, but your price is a lot higher than it should be and that's terrible
This would be a life saver because subtitling literally drains the soul. I wonder though, if importing the srt file back into Resolve would allow for further customisation of the captions? I don't mind the transcription not being 100 or even 90% accurate. Just anything that would save me the time of typing them out from scratch is more than enough for me so thank you once again for this.
@@fluffycast92 yeah, export SRT in happyscribe and import SRT in Davinci (from the File menu), then drag'n'drop the subtitles clip from the Media pool, and align them in your video's Subtitles track, easy peasy
sorry if this is a stupid question but do you know how we can change the positon of the subtitle on the screen (so like move to the absolute bottom of the video?
After I download the video from the website with the subtitles, am I able to edit the subtitles when I add it back to davinci? ie change color, add animations to the subtitels/different effects, or are the subtitles just permanently on the video how It was downloaded from happyscribe.
i downloaded the srt file and then imported it to resolve, this worked very well. But some formating of the text is lost, which makes it hard to read the text.
Was that kind of download free? Did it automatically sync with your video on resolve? any help would be much appreciated and informing thanks for reading.
it doesnt work for me. the file just creates a new timeline that shows that my media is offline. when I switch to my main timeline and drag over the file to a new clip same results... How do you add the files to resolve?
like honestly the only thing i see it being good for is copying the text down on a different file and manually input the text. Compared to rewatching the videos a million times to get the exact words. unless im using it wrong...
is there a way around the one-track subtitle??? i want to be able to put multiple subtitles (with different colors) so the audience can differentiate who's talking. however, davinci wont let me do this. is there any way I can do it ???
I've been meaning to create subtitles where I can edit certain parts that need translation because i do my videos in Tagalog and English. You are a lifesaver! I'm so glad I found you!! Your new subscriber. THANK YOU!!
I will check that for one short video.Subtitles are popular as there are some ppl that are helping content creators which said we also have deaf ppl which can read subs .Cheers
This was a very useful video and I subscribed for the information found within it alone before seeing any more of your other videos, it directly helped me with my problem. Thank you very much for making it
If you put your video on RUclips even as a private video it will create subtitles for you. Then you can just correct if there’s any adjustments you need to do. It can take up to a day or so for RUclips to do this automatically, the less long your video is the faster it will be
This does work Happy scribe is great and as long as your audio is mostly clean when you upload it to their site it does a pretty good job creating subtitles.
Not such a good tutorial. It started well! This could have spared 15 seconds to explain how to import the SRT file into DaVinci Resolve (which I had to look elsewhere for). Video ended it on how to use to Happy Scribe not as the video title suggests using DaVinci Resolve. If this video was a homework assignment, I'd send it back as unfinished. ☹
Misleading and ClickBait Tittle, This IS NOT MADE in davinci, YOu are taking us to an external site you are promoting (this is the channeL , DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME GUYS, and report this video, this is not In Davinci, why you lie to promote your business ??
$12 an hour / .20 cents per minute. Forgot to mention that. If you have a big YT channel, that would be great. Not so much for the small guys.

“Depending on how long your video is, this process should only take a couple minutes.” *Glares at 2 hour Dead Space Trilogy Critique I’m working on*
Thank you but I’m curious...why not subtitle your own video about how to subtitle?
Hi heres Waffle one question rlly quick so does this cost some kind of money to use it? exept for the human generated version
Just so I understand. Can I plug the SRT file back in Davinci to make text animations?
This saves literal hours for me, I can't thank you enough

did you ever try this on davinci???
@@fluffycast92 yeah, export SRT in happyscribe and import SRT in Davinci (from the File menu), then drag'n'drop the subtitles clip from the Media pool, and align them in your video's Subtitles track, easy peasy
Adobe Premiere has this function included in the software...Davinci doesn't have something similar?
why does it say i have to upgrade plan in order to export it?
Is it possible to add a subtitle track with the free version of Davinci? I can't find che command in the free version i've just installed...
It's possible, maybe you are in the wrong tab. I've created tons of subtitles with the free version
i have a vertical video how can i rotate the subtitles?
Can this do any language? or just english subs?
And how i get the subtitels in to the video ?
sorry if this is a stupid question but do you know how we can change the positon of the subtitle on the screen (so like move to the absolute bottom of the video?
How many free transcriptions do we get before we have to buy the service?
Is it possible to download only the subtitles and make my customization at DaVinci?
Does this work for Spanish audio?
Hi, what if the language in the film is English, but I want Mandarin subtitles?

Thanks a lot for this video! It was VERY useful and time-saving.
RUclips has this builtin, you can export and save the subs.
my video is in spanish but I want the words translated to english with subtitles. Can i do this on that program?

Dude I just edited a vlog and my client wants subtitles gotta try this!
Funny how you dont mention in the video that you have to pay even if its just a video thats like two minutes long.
It's not free
is there a way around the one-track subtitle??? i want to be able to put multiple subtitles (with different colors) so the audience can differentiate who's talking. however, davinci wont let me do this. is there any way I can do it ???
You can actually add a second subtitle track on davinci.
Girly
I love you, you just saved me 10+ hours of work.
My youtube Chanel is doing what it does thanks to the very helpful creators making the tutorials. Thank you
I thought this was going to be internally in Davinci...title should of been clearer.

you're a life saver. thank you!
This is a fantastic service, but will it stay free or are you having to pay to download a video?
It’s not free. It’s $12 an hour / .20 cents per minute.
