Why doesn't HK included important information like CG location and Elv,Ali,rud throws in the instructions?
This is NOT a Plug and Play or Plug and Fly glider!
There's quite a lot of building involved with this glider. I was disappointed when I received mine. You have to build the entire tail end. Positioning and glueing on the tail and all the servo arms. You have to glue the wings together, preferably with epoxy resin. You also have to install the very fine spring wires to the tail/rudder and the tailplane/elevator. Mine did not have any positions pre-drilled or cut slots or anything. Very tricky to get right. Also the pull wires for the elevator and rudder are new to me and not exactly an easy thing to get right first time.

You know what's funny? It looks like they installed the horizontal stab, or elevator, upside down. Or, maybe it's a matter of preference. It is a great DLG glider, made a little review of it. discontinued :-(
What is the profile of the wing of this glider ?
Sadly I'm pretty sure it's just a Clark Y flat bottom airfoil, as every other Hobbyking DLG has used that airfoil. You can sorta tell this from the performance too, in that, when it slows down, it really does not float like an F3K with a proper airfoil.
how long can you fly these things on one charge (I'd imagine a lot since no motor)?

Does anyone know if you can throw a glider of this performance high enough to thermal with?
You can catch a thermal straight off the ground. So technically, yes. However, the higher your launch, the longer you have to find and settle into a thermal.
@@coolbean145 Right, Where I fly there is a high tree line surrounding the field, so i get alot or rotor and not alot of thermals.
