From my personal perspective a player should at least unlock all of them for a BM increase - this is step n.1. Step n.2 upgrade Tusk 3 times at least to have the cheapest BM increase per Abyssal Fragment.
Then we have a decision about Shadow Authority. Igris is still best for white zone, Blades for red. Even for Alice in my opinion. The numbers you have provided in video showed 10-15% increase ONLY IN CORE attack. So Blades can give around the same numbers.
And the final decision is he worth getting one of three slots during fight. And it's the hardest decision. Iron gives 12% Defense Decrease from common skill and a Shield from Obtained skill. Tusk have a high damage skills but no special effects from common skills and a 20% damage for all shadows from Obtained skill witch is better than Tank and Iron cause their obtained skills has now DPS effects. I do personally think he is worth getting a third slot if he is Knight. If not third slot goes to Iron.
So now Shadow groth will look like.
- Unlock all shadows.
- Upgrade all of them at least 3 times.
- Upgrade you three main shadows futher with accent on a main shadow.
- Promote Igris to skill (Knight)
- Promote Blades to skill.
- Promote Tusk to skill.
- Promote Igris -> Blades -> Tusk to Elite Knight.
All IMO and it's only the first day of Tusk so...
Ngl I was expecting a more noticeable difference. Maybe when also paired with Mei it'll be even more impactful. Still a boost in dmg is still a boost, thanks for the info!
Diminishing return is a thing so stacking too many core attack boost might not be a good idea.
I have A5 Alicia but all my shadows are common. Which one should i upgrade? I have 450 traces.

It doesn't give so much cause Alicia's Core is already boosted by different sources. Like for example 240% Core vs 275% doesn't give much difference. But 100% vs 135% is huge.

ayo Im here for another topic. Workshop of Brilliant Lights says it unlocks after Hard Chapter 10 , but im currently at Hard Chapter 13 and completet Chapter 10 with 3 Trophies at every level and it still does not unlock. Am I miscomprehending somethign?
