That's 1 of the main beers I'll choose when out somewhere that doesn't have much variety. I'll take a Red Stripe over a Budweiser, Bud Light, Coors, Miller, PBR, etc. mostly any day of the week.
I've always found Presidente brewed in the US has significantly more of that skunkyness vs Dominican brewed Presidente. Can't wait to see the next showdown video! See you guys on Monday at Charlton!
Love Presidente from the DR! When I got it in Southern Florida, I hadn't had really any bad experience either. It's not quite as good as DR brewed but not bad.
As a beer and watch guy, I really enjoy these comparison videos. I like trying to figure out what watch he’s wearing as much as the tastings. First time seeing him wear a DJ, nice!
Great vid, I will say, I just had Carib in St Maarten and it was great! It is actually from Trinidad and Tobago.. maybe I had it nice and fresh down in the islands!! We also tried SXM which is from St Maarten!..
Was just talking the other day about how it had been awhile since I'd had a Red Stripe and that it was always solid. I like another island beer, Kalik which is Bahamian but I was also in the Bahamas at the time.
I'm sure this is in the works but taste testing stouts next to each other would be great! Love the videos you guys are putting out! I live in western mass and having treehouse so close by is a treat!!
I really like these comparisons and think it's a stroke of marketing genius for your brand. I just wish I could find your beer in the Sacramento foothills area. Cheers!
Exactly how beer evaluation should be done lol.. I run into the same factor, as you make your way back around for another tasting, other aspects start to arise. Did that beer hit you worse than that wicked old Busch Light though? 😏😂
I recall the last time I was in DR all they had for beer at the resort was Presidente. Luckily it was in cans; overall not terrible out in the heat. Barely 4% It didn’t taste like anything…
On a trip to Costa Rica, I had a beer called Imperial. In that warm climate, it was delicious. Have you or any commenters had one? I can’t find it anywhere. Red stripe is real good too.
No, they don't ship to anywhere. Even in Massachusetts you can't buy it at a regular store, you have to go to a brewery location. Many people drive hours and think nothing of it.
Great video! Landshark definitely my favorite! Where can I get one of those signs? I wish you shipped beer I'd love to add them to the bar I run down here in Virginia! :(
Carib is owned/brewed in Trinidad with breweries in Florida and a few other Carribean islands. I wonder if canned Carib from Trinidad is this bad. I remember thinking it was ok when I had it in blue cans in Antigua but, I was also on a beach.
I have tried Red Stripe, Land Shark and Presidente. Of those three Red Stripe is my favorite closely followed by presidente and land shark is meh I actually didn’t enjoy drinking it on the beach
If any one knows a good clone recipe for the medalla id really appreciate it. Its really hard to get it around me unless you go to a Puerto Rican Restaurant.
Mid/Southern New England made it to, like, February without snowstorms. I thought we were in the clear, and then we got like 3 or 4 of them. What the hell, man?! **sips Wafflebanger and relaxes a bit** ...the snow is pretty, though.
This could be the American idol of beer tasting. Sadly, now I can't drink beer without describing what I taste. When it's not a treehouse, I'm noticing the off tastes all the time. I had an amazing fiddlehead that was as fresh as a treehouse beer. I tried another two weeks later, same restaurant, and it was trashed with skunkies and oxidation.... But I knew enough to knowing the difference. That's your fault Nate!👈 Thank you👍😎 No, I'm not actually sad. My sweetheart thinks I'm so knowledgeable😅
the island boys cameo killed me lol
These have become my favorite videos on RUclips.
that's very kind of you, thank you! we'll keep it going.
@@treehousebrewco you guys need to do some Kona Brewing Co. Beers!
@@treehousebrewcocan you have your guy get the later date beers
Of all these Red Stripe is by far the best. Most of the rest are made for marketing and not for love of brewing beer. Thanks guys.
That's 1 of the main beers I'll choose when out somewhere that doesn't have much variety. I'll take a Red Stripe over a Budweiser, Bud Light, Coors, Miller, PBR, etc. mostly any day of the week.
The island colors neon treehouse sign is so cool.
I've always found Presidente brewed in the US has significantly more of that skunkyness vs Dominican brewed Presidente. Can't wait to see the next showdown video! See you guys on Monday at Charlton!
Gotta have it from the tap in the DR to get the true Presidente experience
Love Presidente from the DR! When I got it in Southern Florida, I hadn't had really any bad experience either. It's not quite as good as DR brewed but not bad.
Love your channel. Can't wait to taste Treehouse beer. Friends and I are driving down from Ontario next Friday to Charlton.
Cheers
see you then!
Saturday morning by the wood stove. This video is a sign to book that trip to the islands and do my own tasting!
Glad to see the wooden box is back!
Love the music and shirt combo for this video ...
🏝️
Red Stripe for the win!...Awesome!...definitely my favorite daily drinker! Cheers
it definitely hit hard in this panel
This needed a green screen with the beach as a backdrop haha!!
Finding more and more craft beer in the islands, but local lagers are still my go to when enjoying the beach!
there's just something about the zero frills appeal
This is very timely since I will be heading to the islands in the very near future. I know what I'll be drinking now. Thanks Nate.
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

⬅️ big watch guy. collection vid?
Ya mon. Well done, thanks for the posting the reviews. Big up!
🏝️
The music worked well in this video 👍
A bucket of ice cold Red Stripe on the beach hits different
Great vid, I will say, I just had Carib in St Maarten and it was great! It is actually from Trinidad and Tobago.. maybe I had it nice and fresh down in the islands!! We also tried SXM which is from St Maarten!..
Treehouse neon is pretty dope, and so is the hop cone lamp.
Love these vids. Nate does such an awesome job.
Glad you like them!
Where do I find the treehouse neon ? ❤
Was just talking the other day about how it had been awhile since I'd had a Red Stripe and that it was always solid. I like another island beer, Kalik which is Bahamian but I was also in the Bahamas at the time.
Love these taste tests. Can you do grocery store stouts?
Wait what? Island Boys love treehouse?? That's hilarious. Maybe Kalik instead of Carib... Loved Medalla Lights in 🇵🇷
Just got back from San Pedro, Belize and you nailed it, sure isn’t about the flavor when sitting on the beach!
I'm sure this is in the works but taste testing stouts next to each other would be great! Love the videos you guys are putting out! I live in western mass and having treehouse so close by is a treat!!
Cool tasting😄🍻
Here because of the 🐈, staying cause the medalla !

Kalik...rules the island beers IMHO 😊

Did that beer hit you worse than that wicked old Busch Light though? 😏😂
MEDALLA!!!!! directamente desde mayaguez puerto rico!!! would drink 6 right now lol😂
Not the island boys cameo 😂
it had to be done

i haven’t- anyone else?
Where are you filming from? How to I buy one of those neon signs?
Are you guys ever shipping beer to stores in florida?
No, they don't ship to anywhere. Even in Massachusetts you can't buy it at a regular store, you have to go to a brewery location. Many people drive hours and think nothing of it.
Great video! Landshark definitely my favorite! Where can I get one of those signs? I wish you shipped beer I'd love to add them to the bar I run down here in Virginia! :(
I will get more information on the signs. we had a local vendor make them and they are pretty pricey
You guys gotta sell those LED logo signs lol
Would love to see Hatian beer Prestige in the tasting.
Are the Treehouse neons for sale?
Carib is owned/brewed in Trinidad with breweries in Florida and a few other Carribean islands. I wonder if canned Carib from Trinidad is this bad. I remember thinking it was ok when I had it in blue cans in Antigua but, I was also on a beach.
Landshark is one of my favorites for a micheladas.
Now I want a cheeseburger in paradise.
take a drink every time he says "all things considered"
I thought the same thing.... 😭
@@treehousebrewco lol this video it wasn't said as much - but I just watched a bunch of these in a row and let's just say it gets said a ton lol
You gotta try Banks beer from Barbados!
I was surprised Carib seemed so off-putting to you. When I was in the Carribean, Carib was my favorite of this bunch to enjoy on the beach.
I was just as surprised. I liked it in st. Thomas way back when
Morning Nate. I would take a case of Bomb Cyclone with me on a trip to the Caribbean. 😁😁😁
I have tried Red Stripe, Land Shark and Presidente. Of those three Red Stripe is my favorite closely followed by presidente and land shark is meh I actually didn’t enjoy drinking it on the beach
Piton from St Lucia and Imperial from Costa Rica are good
Land shark. Red stripe. Presidene. The Puerto Rico one and the Trinidad and tobego one. My guess after first tasting
Balashi from Aruba! Unfortunately they don't export it..
As i said before, we must get your evaluation of European Abby beers. They are unbelievable!
Start with Leffe, paulaner, lowenbrau, or bitburger.
I just saw that you did a few of these in your pilsner vid. Kudos! 🎉
you should have added prestige!
No Piton from St. Lucia?
you gotta do stouts next. maybe milk stouts
How can we get that neon sign??
we had it custom made.
If any one knows a good clone recipe for the medalla id really appreciate it. Its really hard to get it around me unless you go to a Puerto Rican Restaurant.

Missing Kalick and Sands from the Bahamas

No, I'm not actually sad. My sweetheart thinks I'm so knowledgeable😅
when you develop your palate to taste basic off flavors it can be disheartening how common they are.
Should do a comparison of non-alcoholic beers and through some in with regular beers and see if I can pick them out.
we do have an NA tasting on the channel. i would expect it to be easy. na is a long way from tasting like ordinary beer
Smoka tha ganja man 😂
Four of those are made in the United States. The middle three are all made in Florida.
I'm like a dozen videos late on this question, but where is this "tasting room?"
🤫😉
Long board
Aren't all these beers supposed to be tasted cold? Really cold? Is it adequate and fair to compare them at what seems to be room temperature?
they were poured cold.
Why is El Mago at a $16 price tag , when most of these beers are around $10 max per 6 pack ?
One of those isn't even from an island.
Please never collaborate with the island boys again!
🤣
