- RWB Vancouver: Nakai - san builds one of the craziest Porsche's yet! I welcome you Kaede, aka Stella Jr. Congratulations Richard on having you're dream come true.Thank you again for inviting me to come up to Vancity to film the build, I look forward to hanging out with you and our friends at car shows, meets and rally's in the near future. This marks the third RWB Build that I have filmed and I look forward to filming many more down the road meeting new friends.

Aside from the cars being absolutely stunning, it would literally be a dream come true to even be in that room and witness Nakai-san's work in real time. The more you learn about RWB the more you realize that it's not just a guy making body modifications to porsches, it's literally his entire life's work and passion manifested in physical form. As much as I hope that we can continue to have RWB Porsche's after Nakai-san is gone, He is the sole reason that these cars are so special and sought after. You don't own an RWB like a Ferrari where you put it on display as a symbol of your wealth, or you buy it because the resale value will go up in the future, you get an RWB because you want to be part of an exclusive culture of car owners appreciating these cars as the works of automotive art that they are.
I dream one day in my lifetime to meet Nakai-san and have him create my own personal RWB, because once he is gone the mystique and the "je ne sais quoi" of RWB will go with him, and these cars will become timeless and priceless pieces of automotive history.
Same, this is up there in the "list of things I'd do in a heartbeat" when I win the lottery.

He cuts, he saws, he grinds, and smokes, but somehow it all seems like he's gently molding the car into something more, something beautiful... Wow!
Insane you can tell instantly from facial expression who the master is, in this video. Japanese artisans that dedicate their life to a craft are insane.
I hope this man passes his legacy on to an apprentice, these rwb porsches are immensely perfect. Id like to see this keep going for generations no matter what happens with vehicles in the future
Nah, this is like Motörhead. When Lemmy died it was over. There should never be a Porsche flying an RWB banner that Akira Nakai didn’t lay hands on personally. It isn’t about what he’s doing to the car, because frankly the manual aspect of what he’s doing isn’t special - any autobody technician could do this. What makes it special is the history, camaraderie, culture, and attitude with which it’s being done. Many fail to grasp this. RWB isn’t about the car per se. It’s about the process and the culture.

Rwb cannot be compared with those luxury cars, it's too unique and also Nakai san creation of these porsche modification are really on the finest peak.... Just speechless even though just watching how he did it really makes me want to get my hands on one of those cars...

Love this guy. Smoking a cig. Just using some painters tape and cheap 3M silicone between body parts. No priming after exposing bare metal charging a shit ton and doing it over and over again. Nakai is a legend! Love this guy.
