Onboard my first Ryanair flight in over a year taking me back to London Stansted. The flight was very "typically" Ryanair. Lots of people talking very loudly and of course screaming kids... The flight itself though was very good no complaints, left on time beautiful views of the sunset during our descent and while holding for arrival at Stansted.
A few things to look & listen out for...
Listen out for the safety demonstration tape cut out then the crew continue to do it manually and it restarted again which caused a few laughs. Quite interesting aswell at Brno the aircraft are parked facing away from the terminal so only start one engine while on stand in order for it to not cause too much blast behind it, then we move onto the taxiway and started the second one. Also a fair few bumps of turbulence not long into the flight, tried my best to get the wingflex on camera but its quite difficult when you're actually bouncing around aswell.
And finally, something I find common with Ryanair but I've never noticed on other airlines the taxiing speed. Both after arrival at Stansted and taxiing for departure at Brno we were bouncing along at one hell of pace down those narrow taxiways, what do you think?

What you actually experienced with regards to the engine start was the start procedure with an inoperative APU. You start #1 using air from a ground unit, you then disconnect that (it connects right next to #2), advance the #1 throttle - up to about 50% N1 (which explains why you couldn't do it rear on to the terminal) - this builds up air duct pressure and when you hit 30psi you begin the #2 start sequence. I suspect had the APU been fully operable you'd have started both engines on stand. A great catch of a non standard event!
Love the 737 -8AS its a bit like a basic spaorts car, fast, agile, very firm, but loads of fun. Thanks for all your great videos.
Another great video from you, lovely sunset at 0.47 mins.
Nice flightreport video ! Brno seems to be a small airport :)
I agree with you. This is typically Ryanair. Good job mate!
Great video. Yeah, the taxi speed was something i noticed with Ryanair the other day from Palma to Edinburgh. Was very quick. Interestingly, we had to start one engine on stand for 'operational reasons' apparently using air from an external source and then pushed back. Once we pushed back the number 2 engine started in the same way yours did. Increase in thrust from number 1 then back to idle when number 2 started. Can't say i have ever seen that before! Had pretty bad landings going into Palma then into Edinburgh. Oh, also we kept having the seatbelt signs turned on every 10 mins or so for no apparent reason. The flight was smooth all the way, so not quite sure why they kept doing that. Not my favourite airline!
Best engine sounds
Pilot was amazing bro nice landing fast taxi i love it :) great job bro i love trip reports of your
gotta love how the 8AS engine sounds like
Now this sounds better. I'll bet your have fresh batteries in this time.

i agree, at barcelona in april, our ryanair flight nearly flew off the taxiway we were gion so quick. We complained and they said it was too ' speed things up '
That's not true! Ryanair is a great plane

Very nice Video
Nice video !
Jheeezzzz it's zooming down the taxi way😂😂
That taxing speed though 😂
So you mean that in every other airline people don't talk and there are no kids? :D
Timelapse please!
Who says Ryanair don't do their best to oblige, doing a fast forward for you during the taxiing?!
Britt Uncudy
Looks like you were in Brno for just the day. Is that correct?
So have Ryanair improved? I used them once or twice and wasn't best experience!
Ryanair SOP is to taxi 30 on a straight and 15 on corners.
+RioLetsPlays 10 when turning more than 45 degrees and 15 at aprons
It’s not part of the SOP, it is what Boeing have said is safe, so ALL 737 have to limit to 30 knots in a straight line
Lmao Ryanair taxi way too fast
IRLAviation no it was not! Can not exceed 30 knots. That taxi was definitely not more than 30
Talk about a 40 knot taxing speed :P
Was this recorded on the 8th October at about 12 pm as if so then I was on that plane
And another hard touch down.
what is the high pitched noise and droning noise after 1:28
Fuel pumps, hydraulics and air
EGSS have runway 22 not a 23
all airplanes are my and one thing hate is thomas cook.
55:40 Italians on board? -.-

Yes because they aren't long flights
