- Welcome back everyone and today I am bringing back a series I started on my channel many years ago. I think for the most part we are satisfied with what LEGO Star Wars Sets we get, including what we know so far about the LEGO Star Wars 2024 Set Leaks & Rumors. But there is always room to improve and some ideas that LEGO just might not ever make. I hate to say it, but if they were to do the star destroyer, then it would most likely be completely tiled off on the bottom with a giant sticker on both sides.
I'd love to see Thrawns Chimera, but I think from a practical perspective his office as a diorama would be more likely. I'd love that set too. They could put so many easter eggs in it with his collection. And then maybe a Captain Pallaeon and Rukh as figs 😍
Don’t be too hard on yourself. You’re doing a great job! As for Thrawn’s SD, I agree with another member on here that Lego would make a giant sticker for the bottom…or they could make one hell of a printed tile or tiles. I am thrown back by these mocs! I’m sold on all of them. One set I think would be great ode to the clone wars would be a Police gunship with Anakin, Capt Rex, commander Wolfe, a couple of shocks, Ahsoka and Ventress.

A Naboo Royal starship would be amazing to get. Not in chrome is fine. I think metallic could work. But imagine if LEGO made the set and had like special white bricks with a chrome spray can in it. So we would have to chrome it ourselves. What do you think? LEGO would never do that. But it was just a cool idea I had. Because realistically if LEGO made the set a bunch of people would probably customize it and spray-paint it chrome anyways.
Yeah we can wish for a chrome beauty, but a silver metallic one would be very nice too also a good way to re introduce that red dress Queen Amidala with the sculped dress piece. Lego gave us i think 3 sith infiltrators but no J type nubian. It's the coolest ship in star wars and we need it. Theres a bunch of great mocs of it some of which have been chrome painted.
That would be a good set to reintroduce the red Queen Amidala. If they LEGO was only limited to doing one episode 1 set. That minifig would also be great in a Theed Palace set. After LEGO doing Darth Vader’s Castle, MBS Cantina, and Yavin 4. I think a Theed Palace would be a great set for LEGO to make. Maybe after Yavin 4 retires or to fill the spot of the Justifier. I think that set is now retired or on the brink of retirement.
@@StudtasticStudios I didnt even think of the palace. It could be a 2 story high ceilinged build with "blast open" windows on one side and a small hallway to the throne room with hidden pistols and a desk for play features. Figures could be the queen, a new Nute Gunray, Panaka, a couple of security guards and the obligatory battle droids. Would also be a good set to update the droideka in. If they made it in the hard to get tan bricks and sand green or whatever the term is might be medium something green, for the roof itd be a great way to get more of those colors. Id definitely snap that up as would a lot of moc builders for the tan bricks.
@@spiffs2septims730 yeah, that green color is called sand green. I could see them putting in a slew of more figures in there if it’s in the style of Yavin 4. They could include the throne room as the 2nd story, a ship hanger as the 1st floor to put a Naboo star-fighter in. In the scale of the y-wing and MBS slave 1. Then as a separate set or same set, have the duel of the fates room with technic pins to attach to the main build. Something like that would be amazing, or even also have a mini scaled down Gungan sub.
For Thrawns star destroyer, they could do to flat triangular places with prints on it. That seems like the easiest option.

Only subbed because you were honest at the start about the previous videos quality, happy to subscribe to someone who wants to put out consistently good vids
At this point price isnt too much of a problem when it comes to the Naboo Royal Starship. Just make it outstanding quality, no stickers, and chrome that baby up. Give it a full interior and full retinue of figs, Obi-Wan, Qui-Gon, Panaka, Ric Olie, a new Queen Amidala in the rare dress piece, a handmaiden in those orange robes, 2 guards, and 2 astromechs, and Anakin, meh maybe add jar jar. If they built it to the size of 25-30 inches with accurate proportions i think we'd be happy to pay $300+ for it. Maybe market it as a UCS and add in a miniature swooshable version for extra price (about 6 inches). This ship has been a glaring omission for decades and they really cant call it an anniversary without giving us the big one. If not what i described above, even an accurate set in metallic silver with the more important characters and those rare guards (if they dont make another flash or a gian speeder with the security forces in them, which would be great) for maybe around $180 ish for a good sized ship , not the new small scale, would be appreciated. Just give us the ship already lego, and take our darn money!
Edit: Forgive the rant, this is my favorite ship and it looks like a shiny SR 71. Need it.
A £150 MTT would be a treat, especially if it had about12 to 16 battle droids and some extra figures like Captain Panaka, a Gungan soldier or the first ever Boss Nass.
Getting Padme’s starship for the first time would also be a treat, especially if it had all 6 Astromech droids in the set, plus characters like Ric Ollie or a new Queen Amidala.
But the biggest treat would be a Droid Control ship of some kind, with Nute Gunray, Daultey Dofine, TC-14 and Tey How.
Would love to see an AT-OT, got all the Republic and Empire walkers besides the AT-OT, AT-AC, and AT-ACT to complete the collection. Also would love to see the Tie Reaper

Please tell me we will finally get Big Boss Nass. Its been 25 years , we need him as a minifigure. Also I would like a new Jar Jar Binks ( we haven't had him since 2015).
I would love for an ATOT set, I got one from Marstoy the other day and it gets the job done for 50 bucks and a chinese knockoff. If they were to do just the ATOT it would be cool to see them do the drop ship for a separate set over time! Definitely has to be the 327th in the set with Ayla Secura
Everyone who wants a gunship can just order parts for the 2013 gunship. This Christmas i did this and modified it like adding double doors and some more stuff under 120 euro.
I really wish we would get an MTT for the 25th anniversary of TPM with something like 20+ droids no figs just droids but being like the 2009 MTT that would be my dream set for this year

Considering that Thrawn's star destroyer is called the Chimaera and it has a literal Chimaera on the bottom of the ship, I can't see it coming out without it.

God, seeing that hallway scene with the current stormtroopers was like a jump scare, holy crap they look bad. They look like a storm trooper bobble head that melted
Tbh we can easily get a Naboo Royal Starfighter if Lego repeated what they did with the Mandalorian Helmelt head, giving us majority of light bluish gray pieces with a small handfull of metallic parts to add that extra shine to the build.
We'll probably never recieve a fully chromed out Naboo Royal Starfighter, but if Lego makes 25%-30% of the pieces in that set a metallic gray for that extra pop then it would be the best of both worlds imo.

I have 2 Clone or Clone Wars related sets that I think could happen this summer. A play scale Rex’s Y-Wing and Ahsoka’s Jedi Starfighter vs. Vulture Droid. The Y-Wing would be around $80 and the Jedi Starfighter set around $40-$50. Also, maybe if they just chromed a couple of the main top pieces for the Naboo Cruiser it could be like $75-$80 instead of $100.
I think for Thrawns star destroyer they go battle damaged/gold and do a lazy job with stickers on the bottom

I really think they are going to slot the at-ot and drop ship as a Ucs in the Ucs at-at slot after it retires
I started collecting Star Wars sets around 2020 and I’ve always found a place in my heart for a republic gunship and with the most recent one costing so much after retirement a new one would be crazy. The custom Naboo royal starship would be a lot better in chrome or at least the current silver they have going on but $100 for something with 500 pieces would be a bit outrageous even with chrome pieces.(Still would buy it though 😂)
For thrawns ship, i feel if they dont add the design on the bottom its just not his ship. Thats the only thing about it that makes it stand out other than the ahsoka version. I dont know if anyone would be happy if they launched it withoit the design
I have always imagined that in regards to Thrawn's star destroyer and the bottom of it, Lego would try to use tiles and try to make the design as accurate as possible.
theres so many unique sets in the star wars universe i can’t see them ever running out let alone with remakes

I would be excited if Lego made the Chimera (thrawn’s star destroyer) and if they gave it accurate looks and good mini figures it I question how they would make Thrawn. Will they make him look more like Rebels or Ahsoka or a mixed variant

To be fair, who actually wanted a bd1 from faller order, I would have wanted the mantis or something much more bang for buck, not some droid that costed $100
